Look at Serie A, La Liga, PL, Bundesliga etc. Since the 1990’s, it’s no different to now except the “Arabs” have joined in.
I never heard anything mentioned like this prior to our buyout - even regarding Chelsea.
Arsen/Arsenal with his usual ‘Don’t blame us and our board for our shortcomings, blame City’. Whilst they pocket the dividends season after season, the only thing that changed is Arsenal are no longer happy as they’ve failed to qualify for the CL after 19 consecutive seasons and look like missing out again this season. ‘Look at City’, pure deflection on his part yet again. Wenger out!!!
 
Hang on hasn’t he just spunked 58 million on a striker and offered Ozil a redixulous amount per week to stay? Hypocrite

Danny Fizzman who bankrolled the george graham era effectively gave them whatever money they needed to be at the top table in the late 80's and 90's.

Also he was is the one who suddenly decided that he would dismantle his invincibles over the 2 seasons after their feat, and then slowly let arsenal slip further down, while financially he could compete.

Sounds like a spiteful bitter man that won't accept he has fucked up his squad rebuild last 10 years.
 
Wenger is a wanker. I've made my feelings known in the past about him, he's just a fucking accountant in charge of a football team. He's more concerned about the bottom line than he is about winning. The stuff he needs to work on is being sidelined for the sake of occupying some fucking moral high ground, that only he, and his fans, care about - I'm sure Arsenal fans are seeing through it now. He needs to be shown the door, but the financiers love him.

Oh, and they're like Rags in that I've never met a decent Arsenal fan. They're actually in bed with Rags now - after being ridiculed for years by GPC, and their fans, they now see themselves, alongside the Rags, as moral guardians of the English way - no oil money.

Shouldn't Wenger address his criticism towards the Board at Arsenal about funding before calling out others ?

But then again, they probably regret giving the senile old twat a new contract 18 months ago .

why is wenger moaning about manchester city winning the league he's been fergie and united bitch for years and years and only when united was in with a chance of champions league wenger and arsenal would push united for the title it was like fergie and united letting him win the league

arsenal and wenger are so far behind they don't see it football change about 5 years ago and it had nothing to do with manchester city's money it was tv money and revenues reaching over £1 billion. sheikh mansour and ADUG are not the problem yes at first city splashed the cash but that was years ago to promote the club. even chelsea was 5 years earlier and was even worst with jose spending like nothing. again wenger said nothing happy to be a bitch to both united and chelsea and now somebody who as just spent £150million on a new player with wages and transfer can come out and say that the money men are running the game

look arsenal never spent big money and paid high wages and that's why the players fucked off its the players who demand high wages not clubs the players are greedy and will take every chance they get to make there money and fast and do one. its a short time scale being a player and if you can get 10 good years at the top with maga wages you take it. top players have 2 big contracts in there footballing life span. around the age of 24 and a 5 years deal and again at 28 when you have one year left on the old one. its make or break that you get the great deal at 24 and from that moment on you can print money if your a good player

so wenger please stop and have a look at the whole point of your answer ??? the players control football and are greedy and if there is money to be made you take it anybody with half a brain will take it and secure there football life in that moment. if you are at the top of your perfection the rewards are great and players will be happy and stay. but like arsenal if your top of your perfection the rewards never come you feel used and want away

Not exactly. They also made a fortune from the Highbury property deals and it gave them an excuse to limp along in top 4 without spending.

He's BECOME an accountant. He didn't start off that way.

He's as risk averse a man as you could meet, so not spending on talent that might make him look foolish later was a decision he was happy to make over and over. He was pleased as punch to sit comfortably securing CL football over and over because his side was good enough to do so without him having to take risk.

But now that's NOT good enough, so he's adopted the Cloak (or, rather, Down Jacket With the Fucked Up Zipper) of Moral Righteousness And Financial Prudence as cover for his utter lack of testicular fortitude.

That jibes nicely with his desire to avoid self-introspection, which he avoids precisely because he knows if he was honest with himself, he'd have to admit to himself that he's a p***y.

He rationalizes every personal failure, makes excuses and points fingers for one reason and one reason only: because he's an absolute fucking COWARD.
