It’s weird, Raheem is probably the only player in world football that can miss such chances on a consistent basis. I doubt it’s concentration, he seems really zoned in whenever he plays. He’s had years to improve it and hasn’t i doubt he’ll ever get it out of his game.

The team actually have a full 7 days r&r before Leicester at home. I think we will see a clinical performance and I'm saying now Sergio will bag a hat-trick. It's not like we didn't create today, the doom and gloom on here sometimes, honestly check up neck up guys. Be humble and don't expect us to win every single game. This ain't XBox Fifa

That's because he's still a young player, they all do that, however frustrating it can be.

As soon as this happened in the diff I thought this would be a turning point in the season. Ask any opposing fan who they fear the most. Wednesday without his pace we rely on the intricate threaded pass. Sane scares the living daylights out of teams. I never want any of our players injured but Leroy was one we could have done without. Need him back as soon as possible. Until we get Sane and Jesus back need to get as many points as possible on the board. Think this is going to be closer than a lot think. I still think the decision not to add an attacking player in January was a mistake, but let’s get behind the lads Saturday and get 3 points.

Correct barney, I look on other teams forums (sad I know) Sane is the one they fear, West Brom fans were delighted he was not going to play against them.i know for some reason he is not everyone’s favourite but for me he is a fantastic player, that thug Bennett has a lot to answer for.

Well said.Hope your right pal.i am a little worried bout the squad going forward though.Hopefully Jesus can come back soon give us another option.
I feel we badly miss sane on the left.
If like to See Zinchenko maybe given a chance there.
Sterling does a job there but he's just not as comfortable or as much as a threat as he is off the right.
 
99 per cent of the time Raheem takes that chance and we win the game. On another day Sergio does what comes naturally, carries the ball a few yards and stabs it into the corner instead of rolling the ball behind Raheem. Normally we deal with that long diagonal better.

However, we missed Leroy's ability to hurt the opposition. More than anything we missed David's ability to hold it all together. For me, David's still very much the main man - the heartbeat of the team - the player who has been playing the Pep way since long before he joined us.

I agree totally, not been impressed with Sergio for a while, now but not allowed to say, because if you do you get abuse, it should be retitled post match love in, where no one is allowed an opinion unless it is to say how great every player played
