How many points to win the league?

yesterday game at burnley was the first time we used the 15 points we have banked and we just never come out 2nd half. yes we was very poor in front of goal but the pressing game was not there in the 2nd half we just let them have the ball and we held back and had nothing on the bench to come on to change the game. so maybe pep was making a point about the treatment we have been getting and not filling the bench. but for me it was man management and used some of the points in the bag to fresh up the squad for the big games coming up like the league cup final

85 points should be enough but 2 big games back to back in march arsenal away and home to chelsea will control the winning total and we could win the league before the derby. if united don't get anything when playing chelsea and liverpool before the derby. there is still a lot of work to do for city and its not over and looking at the games coming up in march and april we will need the full squad to fire and no more games like yesterday

Saw the first half against Huddersfield and rags were very average. Anyone thinking they will win even 9 of the 12 games left is completely deluded.

They also have a tough run when the CL starts again: Sevilla (A), Chelsea (H), Palace (A), Liverpool (H), Sevilla (H).

No chance they win all 5. They will certainly drop points here. Can see something like 1-1 Chelsea, win at Palace, and 0-0 with Pool at best.

They beat the arse and the dippers at the Swamp with monotonous regularity, and Chelsea are in shit form. I’d say there’s a bloody good chance they’ll win those 3 games

There are external factors now at play even more so. Pogba and the eye gouger having disagreements, leading to his benching even those he peg claims it wasn't punishment, clearly was, Sanchez lost the ball 35 times against Huddersfield and clearly wants to be the main man, taking penalties, always demanding the ball and is earning more than everyone, Fellaini just had knee surgery, where is Big nose? Rashford is barely playing, Martial is now playing less, Lukaku continues to go missing in the big games.

I would be surprised if they finish 2nd to be honest.

I think if we were only 2-3 points ahead, there would be a lot more positivity. Everyone would be looking for the points we could win, instead of looking for the points we could loose!

Exactly we are in an incredible position and people are saying lets sacrifice the Fa Cup. I would be rotating in the league now and focusing on the cups.
