And hope we beat Basel to reach the quater finals.
1 or 2 from Sergio might set that up nicely for him ;)
Exactly :)

Our weakest players, of those that get to play, for Peps system are Kun, Komps and ironically Walker.
Walker gets extra credit because 1. It's his first season playing for Pep and 2. His extreme pace is very useful.
Kun and Komps sadly look very out of place in this team, like fish out of water. They try hard to fit in but .......
You're in minority here mate. It's impossible to explain Aguero fanboys that their hero is the team's weakest point right now. If Jesus doesn't play in CL quarters for whatever reason, can see City being kicked out like last season, wasting lots of chances.

Clearly, that's wrong as we've fielded lesser players in the League Cup and in meaningless fixtures.
So, what I think you mean is that, among regular starters in meaningful games, Kun, Komps and Walker are weakest.
Meh. Maybe so. But that means you'd rather get upgrades to these three as opposed to other players in our squad that regularly have started (Stones, Sterling - for cups - Bravo - etc.).
====
We've got excellent players though out our squad - so any change to regular starters is going to be met with pushback.
Moreover, we have potential future Ballon d'Or winners in KDB/Ederson (much less likely due to position).

Controversially - my three weakest regular starters - assuming a fully fit squad - and factoring in injury potential are - Kompany (always injured and we've already taken steps to replace him - but when fit and on form, arguably the best CB in the world), Stones (improved, but recently has reverted to bonehead play defending - hopefully this is just a bit of rust and he'll return to excellent form on display this season), Sterling (inconsistent but showing much potential - seemingly sorted out a lot of his inconsistency scoring clutch goal after clutch goal this season - but has lost confidence lately, missing some "sitters").
The above list is obviously controversial - and all players I've named are extremely good - but the question and answer I've posed - in keeping with the post I've replied to - is who, among our regular starters, are the 3 first players you'd look to find upgrades for?
A controversial topic for sure - I'm sticking with my original post having read your reply - but there's no clear answer IMO.Sorry but for the system we now play Komps will never be 'the best CB in the world'. I wanted Laporte on for 2nd half on Saturday as Vinny was clearly struggling and I don't believe he can play the way that's required and so that leaves us 3 CB's and so I guess we need another one unless Tosin can step up
Stones is a work in progress but with Laporte now onboard will need to up his game if he wants to be a big game starter.
Kun does not fit the system and needs to be replaced plus we need an extra forward - 5 forwards for 3 positions. I don't count Bernardo as a forward, though I'm not sure what he is right now (trust that Pep does).
We clearly need cover for Fern with a view to replacement.
One way or another we seem well covered at fullback once Mendy returns. Whilst I think Walker struggles at times to play the system we must remember it's his first season playing this way and his pace is a major tick in his favour.
So we need - 2 forwards 1 DM and a CB as a minimum.
If you're not improving you're going backwards, some big decisions to be made.
Meeesh: said this last Saturday.
I'm sure you will be right, but remember this, whoever comes as his replacement, has some big boots to fill.
So it got me thinking.
Is there any Striker out there atm who could score goals for City.? We do seem to be missing a lot of chances - we need the 'clinical finisher'. I am old time so I was thinking of Jimmy Greaves , Dennis Law type of finisher.
If the mods. think this could be a new thread - please create one. - or more likely maybe we should be asking this question after the current season has finished.
Aguero is and always will be an Icon , Legend for this football club. - will he be moving on in the Summer of 2018.?.
9 goals last month and still not enough for some,he will leave when he is ready not before, there is no such thing as a clinical striker, they all miss and lots of times
