That loveable rascal Jamie Jackson did a kick by kick account of yesterdays match. I will just leave this on here...........

85 min De Bruyne shoots from 35 yards and almost belts it out of the ground. When you see standards slip like that, you have to ask: has Kevin de Bruyne taken Kevin de Bruyne as far as he can?
I have to ask ‘has Jackson taken puerile scribbling as far as he can’?

Anyone know what's going on with City Watch?

Guy who runs it seems to have gone AWOL. Pretty sure he was a poster on here, hope he's alright as he does a brilliant job.

rag media at this moment

It was borderline sinister.

There was loads of crowd noise, City on top, noise gone. Halftime, all the noise kicks back in, second half, crowd noise again, City on top, suddenly, gone. Totally gone, like David Coleman from Mexico in 1970, with one mic.

Imo, it's because they have noise gates on the crowd mics & someone has changed the threshold they are operating at, so effectively most of the surround system is shut off, until there is an announcement blasting out over the PA, then the gates open & you hear it come out of the speakers.

No reason & probabably no facility in the software/hardware, for the gates to change themselves like that. Someone in a truck, has decided to alter it.
All it would take would be a foul mouthed individual near a Mic and they'd have to mute it to avoid swearing etc. Maybe that?

No. For some reason the crowd mics were turned right down compared to other games, I can feel the vibration on the cone of the surround speaker near me now, during the Liverpool game, but for City's it was basically off for most of the game. Just watched MOTD & that was on the normal setting, twice as loud as on Sky.

daily fail today, very little about rags. No 6 or 7 page on this that & the other irrelevancies at the swamp and/or pictures of weasel face or Peg.

Suspect our unbiased media are waiting for a decision from the top on how to play the situation now we are out of sight.

But lets hope they do not go for Peg. He is certainly THE man for them for the next few years.

Any stories condemning Smallthings dive or Valencia only getting a yellow for doing a Mane?

After beating Leicester 5-1, United losing to Newcastle, and City going 16 points clear, the Rags mouth piece, the Daily Fail, goes with.....

Manchester City spent £777m to assemble most expensive squad in football and Everton splashed out more than Bayern Munich... but who else makes the top 50?

No doubt United's PR machine were on the phone as soon as the final whistle was blown at Newcastle.

little note in the fail, pointing out that Smalling became the 3rd utd player booked for diving this season. Both Bournemouth and utd have had the most bookings for simulation.

Interesting, I get the 7 am issue by internet & there was no mention of our big spending or anything like that or as above.

It would seem my guess was correct in that they were waiting to be told how to react next by their bosses. Clearly the rags PR machine told them go on the offensive about anything that hides their current loser status.

Good, as I said earlier, we dont want them to get on the back of Peg who MUST stay there for years.

It's from the CIES bulletin, so it's essentially a cut and paste publicity mad bunch of stats-mangling nobodies. What they've probably done is look up the transfermarkt numbers and added them together. Rocket science, it isn't. Neither is it news.
