They use 'oil money' specifically as a euphemism for 'Arab' which would get them called out as racist.

This is what I believe also. They know as well as everyone else that where our owner makes money is irrelevant as long as it’s legally obtained plus we are pretty much self sufficient these days and won’t be too many years before this club starts making a shed load of money. Our product is the best by a country mile this season and it’s only a matter of time before the global bandwagon jumpers climb on board.

Is the tierd old “oil money” phrase doing anyone else’s tits in? What difference does it make what product our owners sell to invest into their football club? Completely stupid with racist undertones imho
Your letting the banter get to you, doesnt bother me, its banter but its true really, anyway its what happens on the pitch that matters, and City are top dogs now.
Anyway City fans have plenty of insults for them which are used daily, for example,we refer to their extremely successful and loyal manager as 'the old pisscan'

Nimrod is right, I always know we’re at our best when empty seats, oil money is what they are talking about. They had a few days off that when Wigan beat us and back on now we have won a cup.

Never let anything like that bother you, there the ones hurting whilst we’re breaking records. Enjoy the season, I think this will be one to remember!

I honestly don't know one United fan that's even mentioned money(or oil money)unless having a laugh. The ones online, you get the feeling that they're frothing at the mouth when they post this oil stuff. Picking the wrong time to latch onto a club they have no connections to is probably sending them over.

Now that's interesting.

Manchester United reportedly regret signing Alexis Sanchez

According to the report:

United executives in attendance at the Premier League's television rights auction earlier this month in London "confessed to their colleagues at other clubs" that Mourinho has turned the club's accounting "upside down" with his signings.

They "regret" signing Sanchez from Arsenal, in a swap deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to the Gunners. They now feel the transfer was done at an "excessive expense". .......and more

Muppets, what did they expect?

Moaning to the outside world - exactly the sort of thing that signifies deep discontent.

Expect more to come. :-)))

Personally I`ve no regrets that they pissed off elsewhere to bank loads o money.
Give me players likes of Merlin,KDB,Vinny,Sergio who are driven more by possible football achievements than hard cash.

Our policy seems to buy at a price they are worth to our financial position and pay them a decent PL football salary then when they prove their worth increase their wage accordingly.
United are the ones who are trying to buy the finished article at massive cost but gambling whether the player fits in or can live up to the cost.

Ultimately we may choose to pay our proven stars massive money or risk them going elsewhere but we have a team of players who rely on each other for success rather than individual so called stars who are financially successful but must rely on individual comeos to prove their worth to fans and club rather than act with team success in mind.

Pretty much dismissed on Rag Caff - quelle surprise..........

History will show that Woowoo will be the greatest CEO city never head. The spirit of Swales lives on inside that wee man and if he’s allowed the full 30 years to weave his magic it will be most pleasing.

The equaliser is well on his way to replicating the job Peter fucking Swales did at City, just in a much shorter time scale.

More shite from the BBC.....
A piece about the possible winter break on their website. So why a picture of the swamp with the tout, piss head and back heel King?

The Premier League has never had a scheduled winter break
Talks to introduce a winter break from February 2020 are continuing between The Football Association, English Football League and Premier League.

The first annual two-week interval would be scheduled from the 2019-20 season and take place in the early part of the month, it has been proposed.

Have to keep them relevant somehow. Yesterday was having Usain Bolt finally playing at the swamp on their actual news page, as if that is news
