3 or 4 games at the back end will set him up nicely for next season, it will be intetesting to see him in a back 4.
He'll liven things up as well.

Welcome back to the fold and fingers crossed Mendy can still play a part in finishing the job off.

He played 4 before he got injured, so he has one game left to get his medal

Pretty sure the winners get a certain number of extra medals to hand out as well to those they chose deserve one.
Im sure he’d rather earn it on appearances mind

According to this article:

http://ftw.usatoday.com/2017/05/who-gets-premier-league-winners-medal

"Retired Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has since revealed the league has altered the rules again: Now, they hand the winning team a set amount of medals (about 40), which the club can then distribute however they see fit. A bit fairer, but still harsh."

If this is true our whole first team could get one, including Mangala.

Great news. He could be fit for the derby!

Don't care if he is ready for the derby...the league is won and we will batter Utd. without him. But it would be great to have him for the latter stages of the Champions League.

its like a new signing and just look what it could have done to the team when you see walker on the right. but will need time to get up to match fitness but like many have said the league has been won league cup in the bag champions league last 8 is almost done and dusted and pep and the squad have covered his role very well and did not panic and well played to delph and mini kevin for stepping up. so like in the summer we all was looking forward to seeing mendy again he was the the key to the left side of the defence and the balance of the squad with him bombing down the wing it would be coming from everywhere

a fully fit mendy will be the icing on the cake at the end of the season and if everybody is fit this squad is the best in europe and no team would like facing up to manchester city home or away and having the left side option back in the team will mean we can switch it both ways with sane and sterling add walker and mendy well good luck to the others

Fortunately we can ease him back as Pep has managed to get three players to cover and do an appropriate job without us suffering a drop in results.

We will be much more balanced attacking wise with Mendy back. Defensively Walker is better but Mendy has a better attacking threat with his crossing ability which Walker is not quite as good at. I did not think Mendy was quite on it defensively before the injury and he will take time to adapt to the pace of the league and how important it is to get back quickly.

I do not think Pep will throw him straight in though as it will disrupt the squad harmony so he will have time to get fit and settle in.

It will not be until next season that we see the best out of him in my opinion.

Long way off yet. He will need 3-4 weeks training, then a few 10/15 minute sub appearances. Must be very careful with this kind of injury to ease him back in (bear in mind his game is based around explosive runs forward which exerts great pressure upon the knee). Don't think we will see him start a game until very latter stages of the CL if we get there, if not next season.

Could still have a big role to play this season in the CL Semis/Final if we get there.

1–2 May 2018 are the CL semi final dates. He's about 4-5 weeks off the pace if he started training this week. So all being well, he can get 2-3 weeks in league games before then. Helps us rest Delph for important games between now and then.
