It pains me to write this but although Peg is a knob he does seem to grind out results. Before their Chelsea game I said they would do well to get 4 points from the next 3 games, Chelsea, Palace an the Dippers. You look at it now and they have nine points, The Chelsea game they could have easily lost, Palace the got an injury time winner and a draw was maybe the fair result today. So if things were slightly different they could have been 7 points worse off after that run of games.

Credit where it's due though they ground out the results, People are just assuming that we will beat them at home and wrap up the title at the same time and I hope they are right but they won't be the roll over that many expect.

He has always been able to grind out results - its what he is renowned for and has always done.

Stylish, entertaining football however is not in his make-up , as you can clearly appreciate if you watch his teams.

They're a different animal at home, they've only lost two in the league at home (both defeats were to us) but have dropped 18 points away from home

Noticed during the game the ball hitting the advertising boards on the gpc stand and it sounded like a gunshot,also a few clearances sounded like I was standing right next to them.
It reminded me of the spinal tap scene when they talk about turning the volume up to 11, makes you wonder if they are at it trying to exaggerate the atmosphere.
I've come home from some home matches of ours thinking that was a decent atmosphere today only to watch a rerun of the match and you'd think the game was played in a cemetery,maybe I'm just paranoid.

It's the latest thing, I've heard many a pundit say if you discount city United are in first place. It's more ludicrous than that thing they did a few years back when the Moyeesiah was there when they talked about 'the top 7' just because the rags were in seventh.

Been incredibly lucky in hanging on in games plus biased officiating to help them. Incredibly lucky drawing at Anfield, lucky Chelseas goal was wrongly ruled out and lucky today they ended up with 11 men and no penalty conceded. They should be 2nd with what they have spent but lots of things go thier way

All that smiley stuff at the end stunk of "sir doth protest to much". Not in a major match for them with a cut leg but sure to be seen all happy and smiley with Mourinho? It could be all on the level but something is not right with it all imo. The cynical man may say the happy clappy stuff between the two was to protect the club from negative press attention. Mourinho may be happy, he should be after that win even to the point where Pogba the pain could not dampen his spirits.

I am certain as i can be given the chance right now; get the 90mil back and return Pogba to Juve? Mourinho would snap your hand off. He may like him as a person but as a player? He is almost everything Mourinho has no time for.
