Big nose off to the MLS apparently per ESPN

A sad end for him.

The guy calls Mourinho a friend. Mourinho flogged him to within an inch of his life last season. If he had used him more sparingly i don't think the injury would have happened. He plays a major part in winning them a few trophies & his reward is a 1 yr contract on reduced terms.

Lifted from the Caf,
the response to a statement below makes me chuckle,

No, we can't spend £150 million on fullbacks in 1 transfer window, we had other priorities.

We could argue the same, we couldn't afford to spend £90 million on a single centre forward in one window as we had other priorities. Those priorities being our defence,

Yes we have spent a fortune on our defence this year and the full back positions in particular however this has changed our performance levels no end and it was the obvious area of weakness that we identified. Let's see how much the rags have to pay to replace their fullback's, to get the same quality they will have to pay at least the same as us.

To be fair i'd be quite happy with his reduced terms for being injured :) beat SSP.

Note the statement from Ed....
"The Manchester United women’s team must be built in the same image and with the same principles as the men's first team and offer academy players a clear route to top-level football within the club."
So, that's why they've been buying cr@p like Pooba and Piano man - the youth players only have to be better than them to get into the first team!

The guy was a beast who looked after himself. I'm sure he could have had a couple more years at the top. Whether staying at the Rags or moving elsewhere. It's a big loss when you consider he could have had 4 yrs at £350K p/w. He ended up with 1 yr at £350K & another at £125K.

Rags who mention they can't compete with our spending are completely stupid. They have signed 3 players who have all cost considerably more than De Bruyne. Plus they are paying their top players more than ours earn. But it's us who are 'buying success', they are just 'investing' when buying players, because Man-ure 'generate' all their revenue the 'right way'. Tossers.

The Rags new striker...

Think Pep has spent £140m more than Maureen, but that's been spent on 20 players, young players.
Maureen has bought 6 players,1 of which he's given away for a 30 year old.

It's not just that mate, they had no problem when buying Wooney and Wio for around 30 mil each, same year they bought Wio in 2002, our biggest outlay on a player was Tyrone Loran(who!) for a whopping 60k.
Never bothered rags then about 'ruining football' on players no other English team could afford.

But they 'generate' their own wealth remember and feel 'entitled'' so that's ok in their narrow mind. The game is and always has been about money for the top clubs. Hypocrites with a selective memory.
