City have already won 4 more games than the 1999 United team and 2 more points in 30 games and scored 5 more goals.

Funny, but I seem to remember that season, they managed to beat a lot of the bottom half clubs by a fair margin, but struggled to scrape wins or draws against the bigger teams. They had more than their fair share of dubious (bent) refereeing decisions, which were worth more than a few points to them; especially some of those penalty decisions at the Swamp.

Yet, despite all the shocking decisions we have had against us this season, we could win the title with 5 games to go, a record goal difference, and a record points margin. I know who most neutrals would prefer to watch in the PL this season, and they play in Sky Blue.

Regarding the defeat at Anfield, I am amazed that so little is raised about Silva not playing that day.

He is basically the heartbeat of our midfield and was a big miss that day, I know he was on the bench but he was in no fit state to play at the time due to his issues at home.

The facts are that we nearly came away from there with a point inspite of us having our best player missing and the team having a collective brainfart for 10 minutes.

Added to which Fernandinho had probably his worst game in a City shirt which I don't expect to be repeated.

Fernandinho and Ederson had their worst games for the club. Kun and Sterling were dogshit as they always are at Anfield. And we had no Kompany neither.

At Anfield we drop Kun and Sterling for Jesus and BSilva, add DSilva and Kompany, add Fernandinho and Ederson having good games and we are a completely different team!

Then get Kun and Sterling firing at them at the Etihad and we'll do 'em! Mendy might even be fit for the second game.
