Remember when some forum members on here slated and ridiculed other forum members by saying there wasn't an agenda against City, and it was all in our minds?
What's this then?
It's not even subtle. It's as blatant as it can be.
Another attack by Talk Shite on our club and on our fanbase.
And of course, opposition fans will love it.
Once again it continues the myth that City can't sell out, even though tickets sold out today, 2 weeks before the match.
So, do you think Talk Shite will back track, apologise, and write an article stating City have sold out the match 2 weeks in advance?
Not a f***ing chance.
I've copied the article only to show how disgusting it is. As for a link, forget it.
Manchester City v Liverpool: Premier League leaders struggling to sell Etihad tickets for Champions League quarter-final
Anfield will be a full house when
Manchester City visit for their Champions League quarter-final first leg clash against
Liverpool, but there is a good chance the second-leg will NOT be watched by a capacity crowd.
Many Liverpool fans were left disappointed as they failed to buy tickets for the first-leg despite having a solid purchase history for Liverpool’s European matches.
They sold like gold dust and numerous supporters have had to accept they will not be able to catch their team in the flesh against the
Premier League champions-elect.
However, the return leg, which will be played at the Etihad, is not facing the same demand.
In fact, home tickets to watch Pep Guardiola’s side have not yet sold out, and they went on general sale on Monday; according to the
Liverpool Echo, they are actually still on sale!
City fans may not like it, but they need to prepare for further calls that their ground is really called the ‘Emptihad'.
