Then there's this beauty from the aptly named Jim Beam (either cuz he drinks too much of it, or his head is shaped like a wooden one . . .)

"I'm also more on the side of quick transition and killer counter-attacks. Hope I will be able to watch that in the near future, though."

All you needed to do was watch our second goal today, you fucking hayseed.

Got to agree that we are making the PL much of the same.
However this is not because City are boring more that the other teams are simply not up to our standard.

The fault is with your owners and their appointed manager Our team helps the cause by relaxing the attack strategy once the game is won but please dont blame City if the opposition cannot get the ball let alone move it towards our goals.

And in fact its not just them.............the whole PL has got poorer in the last 2 or 3 years if you ask me hence how we are running away with it and its not just their managerial appointments its the others - Moyes, Pardew, BFS, Hodgson, Leslie the list goes on as we know - the same shit managers getting PL jobs gradually stifling creative football exchanging it for hoofball at their owners behest to stay in the PL for the money.

To be fair - if I must - there are some on there who can see the truth - the rest are deluded pricks and its them that makes me so want to wrap it up in front of them by playing them off the park next week with our boring football

I am trying from every angle to work that one out....is it me being thick? Is it because they are still in the FA cup or something?

I suspect the tongue was firmly in the cheek.

There are a few on there who have sussed out how far behind us they are (what geniuses), and can only offer an "SMH" and a wry quip at the majority whose heads are firmly ensconced in the sand.

Sad fucks.

And we have to look forward to Colin Wanker back next season too!

It's because the fight for second place was much more exciting than the title race.
The only people who didn't think the title was over at the turn of the year were blues who couldn't understand what they were watching. Fans of other clubs have known it for months.

I expect if they manage to park the bus next week and avoid defeat they will be having an open topped bus parade and civic reception to celebrate.

Ah yes, the ‘not let City win it on 7th April’ trophy. That and the Transition Trophy will be a good haul for them this season.

There’s one poster on there that is a real comedian, well in my eyes he is anyway. Random task the poster is called. Every single post is something bitter about City. Said Pep is hot property and he will be off back to Barca or Real soon, lol. Clueless.

On the Caff there are quite a few creaming over Ibrahimovic's performance tonight............... they do realise he is no longer a swamp donkey don't they?

I’m torn...

Between us beating the ****s 7-0 or Sergio scoring a stuffy goal in the 93rd minute against them...?

Mourinho securing 2nd with Smalling, Lingard (not slating Jesse, just mean in the context of the ridicule he was subjected to previously) Valencia and Young as practical ever-presents will be a bigger achievement, as was Leicester’s title and what Dyche has done a Burnley.
Give Pep either of Dyche or Ranieri’s aforementioned squads, and he’d be Frank De Boer.

My favourite bollocks post of the lot on that thread.

This lad AP88 is winning my little competition over there at the moment.

Indeed he was Ferguson’s pick, but he dodged the job because he knew the has-beens and Cleverleys, Welbecks etc that Sir Alex had been miraculously winning with would have exposed him as an incredibly one-dimensional coach, instead opting to sabotage then-European Champions Bayern before accepting the job at Manchester’s equivalent to a lottery winning Celta Vigo, on the promise of what will soon become a £1B squad, despite once famously saying money clubs that don’t develop their own talent make him sad.

Considering Ranieri turned Mahrez into POTY, I imagine he’d do fairly well with a starting 11 that cost on average circa £50m per head, and seeing as Dyche is turning lower league players into England internationals, I’d fancy him to do a reasonable job too.

It’s not Pep’s tactics that set this City team apart, nor the patterns of play - it’s the abnormal insensity that facilitates such goals as the second one yesterday; the likes of De Bruyne had never shown such sustained mobility prior to this season, then suddenly can overrun every other team in England.

Even peak Ronaldo, built like an Olympic sprinter, looked more strained on the counter than these previously/dubious athletes under convicted drugs cheat Pep. David Silva had never beaten an offside trap in his career, yet suddenly in his 30s looked like Giggs circa 1994 to set up the third.

AP88 in full flow now.

Pogba and Lukaku were disproportionately expensive, and account for more than half of that £300m; the rest of that spend is easily eclipsed by what Pep has spent on goalkeepers and defenders alone in 18 months.

Mourinho’s work with Lingard is more commendable than Pep’s with Sterling, De Bruyne or Sane, yet is widely ignored by the media, who act like Guardiola pulled them from the academy and made them Champions - just how they did with Messi, despite him widely being tipped to become the worlds best as far back as 2005; as they did with Pique, despite him personally accrediting his time at United for his defensive development, or Iniesta and Xavi, despite both playing key roles for Spain at Euro 2008 before he coached them. In the same way they imply Neuer was effectively Roy Carroll until working with the Catalan Christ.

Mourinho’s playing catch-up, and without the limitless charity of an Arabian oil state, has to selectively replenish his squad gradually over numerous transfer windows; once he has a similar depth of quality to work with, only then can their achievements be compared meritocratically.

AP88
It’s the most expensive, not the best; Laporte has been used sparingly, casually signed for £65m in January. It’s like Masoor racing one of his tacky gold-plated Lamborghinis against your average working class lad in a Golf he’s worked his bollocks off to buy and declaring himself the better driver - only morons or fanboys buy into the hype.
