This does happen often. When we are casually passing the ball round he misplaces an easy pass back and the opponent intercepts it. Obviously a concentration thing. His other weakness is his lack of aerial ability despite his size. Other than that hes having a good season!

I think he's had a great first season but he was off the pace in a defensive capacity yesterday. He should have done much better for Bolasie's goal. His energy going forward is so important to us.
 
Disappears when we are under the cosh(made noticeable because the player he replaced was the one to stand up and hare into all comers) and makes at least 1 defensive error per game.
 
An incredible athlete, but prone to massive brain farts. I genuinely can’t remember the last time he put in a decent cross either.
 
Thought he was shite, to certainly not helped by having no cover in front of him for most of the game
 
I might be a little harsh, and let's not forget that he was not given ANY support on the right until Sterling came in, but I can't remember anyone having a worse game than he did tonight. Apart from the tackle on Mane after 70 minutes (in the box) he didn't do anything good. Let Danilo play in the second leg.
 
The one thing we didnt want to do tonight was gift the Dippers an early goal , but Walker did just that , really cannot understand why our players save their biggest cock ups for Klanfield , Stones and Ederson in the 3-4 and Walker tonight , he was also left exposed with no right winger in our team , but still the best right back in europe in my view.
 
Walker overall has had an excellent season but he is looking tired to me, mentally as well as physically. In recent weeks he has costs us goals against Burnley, Wigan and tonight because he is switching off.
 
Wigan away, Burnley away, Liverpool away. Not been good enough defensively in recent months and it's turned into a malaise rather than an off-game. Needs to concentrate and think about what he's doing. Another incomprehensible mistake if you're paying attention, concentrating and reading the game.

Needs genuine competition.
 
Walker's error set the tone tonight. Absolutely gutted that he couldn't clear the ball with one touch.

Me too. They seem to have a way of forcing mistakes from us like no other. It works well. Klopp seems to have us sussed on this. Our defence does tend to turn to shit when pressed and attacked at speed. Surprised more sides haven’t tried it.
 
I was totally against us signing Walker but since he arrived he has shown that he is more than capable playing in this team. Needs to regain his early form.
