Can you imagine the outcry if this was the other way round. They would be outraged and would want games being played behind closed doors, all roads in the north west to be closed to public, city booted out of europe and them given a bye to the final for the next twenty years.
Bestfansinthewerldla!!!!

uefa are a joke and shocking manchester city should not put up with the shit and say to uefa fuck off enough is enough
what ****s uefa are and hows quick was uefa to slap manchester city with a fine of £49million and a players reduction to the squad for breach of FFP a couple years back and was wrong in doing so and if manchester city stood up to them this sort of shit would not be happening right now

manchestre city must go out this summer and spend £500million and say fuck you uefa and then try and sign messi or ronaldo and let them see what they would do without its superstars playing in there competition for manchester city

I always enjoy a rational and mature response here on Bluemoon.

I have never had a go at an opposing fan on this forum (and you can go free and check my post history) but that just comes across as completely disingenuous...you and the rest of the fans knew it was going to happen, its happened before. It was premeditated and deliberate. Your clubs apology means nothing and is completely disingenuous as is everything else that comes out of your club and your fans (plus your pundits in the media)....they club knew it was going to happen and did nothing to stop it....because they wanted it to happen....your point of view after the fact is worth exactly nothing as will whatever sanctions UEFA put on your club.

Merseyside Police - appealing for camera phone footage of the bus attack - I wonder how many people will come forward with that - None!

What you have done is created a very dangerous situation as unfortunately every club has its dickhead element - there will be trouble at next weeks game...it wont be predictable policeable and preventable as the bus attack was as it will happen all over the place and be random groups - but when someone gets hurt in the return fixture I wonder who will be quickest to point the finger of blame.....!?!

This however wasn't a small element of your fan base. It is typical of your fan base.it wasn't one or two isolated idiots...its was hundreds of them and it was planned and sanctioned by the club by the fact they did nothing to prevent/stop it. Your club has demanded the respect of every other club for incidents in the past and everyone (including utd fans) have done that, yet your fan base takes everything and gives nothing back. Its inherent within people from your area. Self centred and always the victim - but never ever responsible. You and your club are the epitome of the self entitlement that has gripped this country....want it all but give nothing back.

I genuinely hope next week goes off trouble free regardless of the result but I wont be surprised if it happens. I want to see a good football match and you deserved to win last night as we were awful in the first half and you have a great team and to play against you anyone has to be at their very best to beat you.....and we clearly weren't. A mixture of individual errors, great pressing from your players and a tactical error by Pep....thats what i want to talk about.....

However the actions of your fans last night and in the past, the actions of your club past and present make you lot easily the most hatable bunch of deceitful and insidious people ever.

Brilliantly put. LFC actively encouraged the attacks on City before the game - then once the advantage had been gained they put out pathetic meaningless apologies- not because they are sorry but because they think there may be repercussions.

Well, this incident is not doing much to dispel the stereotype of Liverpool fans being shit for brains, smalltime wannabe football ultras. Despite their constant bragging about being the most knowledgeable and decent supporters in the world, the truth is that they are drunken thugs that turn to violence too easily and are often involved in group criminal action that recklessly (or perhaps in this case deliberately) endangers the lives and well being of other supporters and players.

They never learn. They never change. And it is never their fault.

Ahem ............. #Hysel#murder#europeanban

Simon. Absolutely spot on. Complete truth. I have these fuckin twats more than rags. Can't see even rags sinking to this!

How they behaved (especially with their history) was truly deplorable. Unfortunately because we lost, it now sounds like sour grapes.
UEFA are guaranteed to sweep it well underneath their plush old-guard carpet.

Come down hard ? Are you having a laugh , no chance , they have been charged and it’s due to be heard at the end of May after the competition has finished !!
That hearing date is an absolute joke.UEFA should be issuing a statement that IF they reach the semi final then their "home" game will be played at the away team's training ground behind closed doors. No way should they have another home game this season.

Any examples of clubs being forced to play behind closed doors for actions carried out away from their stadium?
It wasn't in an area within the jurisdiction of the club so UEFA can't/won't punish the club. The only thing that might sway it is that it was the team rather than fans who were attacked. It would be nice if City's legal people were demanding a full explanation from the plod.

I just hope nothing bad happens on Tuesday. We have some nutters and hard cases in our support, and you don't need a crystal ball to predict some of them will want to seek revenge. Anything that happens at City will be far more severely punished by UEFA than anything at Liverpool, you can bet on that.

It's absolutely key that our "security" people do their job for once, and throw out any Scousers found in the City end straightaway and without question. I also hope that any City fan found to have given or sold a ticket to a Liverpool fan is banned from the Etihad for life.

Spot on Brian....what we need to focus on now is supporting our lads inside the stadium. That means being vocal and booing the liverpool players every touch, and i mean every touch. Those that say it doesnt effect the players are wrong, lets not forget that this liverpool side have no experience of winning silverware - absolutely none

What they do have is a tendency to shit themselves when their backs are against the wall and lose from a winning starting point. We saw it in the league game at their place, they thought they won it comfortably and then we started to respond they went into liverpool panic mode

That is what we need to create on Tuesday night, everything went their way on Wednesday, decisions, bounce of the ball and the form of our performance and the speed of which we moved the ball was way to slow

It is time for the ones who sit in the stadium wth their arms folded, perched like they are watching an opera to make their voices heard on Tuesday night and push the lads on for the whole 90 minutes

I honestly think that the whole coach episode did effect the players, lets mot forget that we do have a young team and their is a reason that liverpool fans do this on every european night at anfield.

What it will do though is give our young players a big learning curve and build a stronger character and What it has done (liverpool fc) is now create a rivalry with ourselves which was not evident years back, partly because we were not winning anything. This will now just make every trip of ours to anfield bigger from this point onwards.

This. Boo every fucking touch by them. Cheer every touch by us. An early goal and their arse will go. My view on Wednesday was that this was over. It's not. Intimidate the fuck out of their team and their fans. Too right "We can do this".

Oh come on mate.Slight over exagerration?Yes we don't want this sort of stuff seen but no one got hurt did they?Even your star KDB was fine with it.Unless you think this somehow affected the result? Then you are really reaching..

Liverpool Football Club are guilty.

They knew this attack was planned and they encouraged this incident because it gave them an advantage. They even published the route of the bus on their twitter feed. The Police are complicit because of many of them are part of the Cult and they have a blind spot about the criminal nature of Liverpool supporters and questions should be asked of them too. However, it should not distract from the fact that Liverpool Football club effectively promote this type of group violence in the name of "atmosphere". Their crocodile tears, their minimising of the event and lack of remorse just add insult to injury.

No one was badly hurt this time but in the past this type of action by Liverpool Football Club had resulted in deaths and serious injuries.

When are the authorities going to do something about Liverpool Football Club's behaviour or do we have to wait until they kill someone?

F***. Off. The hurling of bricks, cans and bottles at the opposition is NOT acceptable. You lot expect respect from others - Hillsborough for example - and generally speaking you get it - which is right. But you seldom give any respect back. I personally loathe your club and it’s double standards. In 2014 we observed your minutes silence, put positive messages in your match day programme etc - how were we repaid - you fucking bricked our coaches. An element of your support are scum.
