United (H) Post Match Thread

The frustrating thing is that had Kev and Kun started we'd have hammered them. I'm not going to question Pep's team selection because he knows far better than me, but is it not better to play your strongest team, then take players off. It's disappointing, but I'm trying to seek comfort by hoping we batter loserpool and If by some miracle we won the CL I'm sure all will be forgiven. We need to try and look at the bigger picture, I'd rather have two big trophies at the expense of beating the vermin.
 
Mentally weak. Both in not killing off the Rags when at 2-0 and the chances missed by Sterling and Gundogan and then not being able to defend properly routine crosses and free kicks and allowing a mediocre team to claw back a game they had no right to be still in. Statuesque defending on all 3 goals. Sterling and Gundogan just poor technique at crucial times to bury those chances. A dreadful week.

Steady on. He looked like someone who turns up to your power league game with all the gear and does some keepy ups in warm ups and is from then on the guy you take the piss out of in the pub afterwards. For 5 minutes he took advantage of poor defending.

Hahaha......good man. Let's keep this in perspective. I'm fucking gutted, but it's been an amazing season. Hopefully the players will be fucking raging and win the next two games.
 
Sterling and Gundogan culpable for me. 4 gilt edged chances wasted.

The defending was abysmal. Danilo is wank and Kompany and Otamendi were just crap 2nd half. Fernandinho, b Silva Sane and Gundogan went missing completely.

Completely ruined every fans weekend and let themselves down.

Play the way we play why are we trying to put the brakes on a great team, spoiled the season in a week playing NOT the way this team should
 
Lose on Tuesday and then against spurs and the narrative will be it's a good job City had a great start or how the pack I let us getaway.
Obviously, win them and we're back on track to greatness.
Unfortunately can see this prem going to the wire.
Hoping that little rag tw@t mcilroy has a bad round - alas he's playing well.

if we cant muster 6 points from that we don't deserve to be champions

I can see us losing v spurs no matter what happened this week
 
A team of bottlers. Embarrassing. You can’t dress it up any other way. As soon as we concede we completely implode. Blame Sterling all we want, it doesn’t disguise the amateurish defending. Of course we’ve won the league but whimpering to it definitely takes some of the shine off it. Great teams should not concede 3 goals in big games. And we’ve done it two on the bounce. I laughed at the final whistle tonight as it was just so ridiculous that we let that happen after such a dominating first half. Even with Sterling’s outrageous misses we still needed to show maturity and game management and belief....we showed neither. Time to fucking man-up.

In Canada 14 families are mourning their children and their lives will never be the same. In Germany families are mourning loved ones lost in a senseless killing. In Manchester 22 millionaires played a game of football and 1 team lost. A lot of people on here seriously need to get a fucking grip! It’s a game. Sure, it’s a way of life for some, and it’s United bearing us, but it’s just a game.
