I am confident that we can score 3-4 goals however I’m not confident that we can stop them from scoring. Especially if salah is playing.

pep will have a front line of sane aguero jesus tonight and KDB silva and fernandinho midfield and delph walker kompany and otamendi and ederson in goal

that's the starting line up and its all guns blazing from kick off and never take the foot of the gas tonight and we can not leave anything on the pitch its shit or bust and if you lose then ok shake there hands and you can hold your heads up high knowing we did out best in a fair and proper manner

In one!

If Salah is out who plays there?

Difficult to predict as they are short in midfield already. On paper it would force them to push Chamberlain out wide, but then they only have two fit CMs in Wijnaldum and Milner. They might play 3-4-3 i guess.

He probably has but it involves defending more & as a result, scoring fewer goals. - great for next season but no good for this game where we’ve got to score 4. So it’ll probably be more of the same.

You're probably right. Thing is though, with our team we know we can score in an instant, there's no need to go gung ho from the off as 1 goal for them and its all over, id argue first half its more important we dont concede than score. We need to tire them our and get a foothold on the game first half, if we can grab 1/2 goals whilst keeping a clean sheet before half time we will be very well poised to throw everything at them second half and as we saw in the league game at their place, they're not beyond a total collapse of their own and have next to no experience of big games

Will be a draw.

It’s like the nearer the McGregor v Mayweather fight got the more people thought McGregor had a chance.

Not impossible but it would have to be a freakish sequence of events with Liverpool turning into Stoke for the night.

I really hope with give it a real go tonight, we limped out last year, our performance in the Bernabeu 2 years ago was anaemic.

Whatever happens I hope that we go all guns blazing tonight.

^This. If we gotta go out (i seriously hope we dont!) then all I ask is a Pab Zab blood (and sweat) on the pitch at the final whistle with the dippers never able to recover for the rest of the season and lose every game after.

Think we'll win on the night but go out cos I'm expecting them to score.
Hope I'm wrong, if we go through please feel free to ram it down my throat. : )

We beat Barcelona 3-1 at home last season, the same Barca that overcame a 3 goal deficit against PSG, even with Paris scoring at the Camp Nou.

If we get it right we can win 5-1, or at at least try and make it 3-0 to take it to extra time.

United scored 2 within the space of about 2 minutes on Saturday and 3 within about 15 minutes, this despite having one of aguabkybtheir poorest halves of football in recent history.

They’ll score unfortunately. I’m not too fussed as I did all my whinging last week, I just want to see them give 100%
