I’ve come round to the view that it’s counter productive booing the Champs League anthem. We might as well move on and get fully behind the team
The second the anthem is over the fans do get behind the team 100%I’ve come round to the view that it’s counter productive booing the Champs League anthem. We might as well move on and get fully behind the team
Easy to have your mollusc like back bone when posting from several thousand miles awayToo many idealists than realists who have the brains to understand how the world works on this thread.
It's amazing how so many fans think their booing and ability to express disapproval means fuck all to UEFA.
Please try staying away from the stadium if you hate UEFA so much on days of UCL fixtures. Give up your cup schemes etc. Stick to your pub or house and let the fans who aren't desperate to show disapproval (only hurting City's chances in the progress) be at the fucking ground so that the bent ****s at UEFA stop getting an excuse to keep us from doing well in the fucking competition.
Be a fucking idealistic moron at home, not at the bloody ground.
He'll have changed his allegiance back to Madrid by thenMake sure you tune in for the semi-final draw on Friday.
Don't forget to stand and applaud when the CL anthem is played.
So if you are at the next Cl match and the booing starts, are you going to tell the nearest one that they are an "idealistic moron" and should have stayed at home?Too many idealists than realists who have the brains to understand how the world works on this thread.

If he's at any game I'd be surprisedSo if you are at the next Cl match and the booing starts, are you going to tell the nearest one that they are an "idealistic moron" and should have stayed at home?
If so, let us know what flowers you like and which hospital you will be staying in while you recover.
If brains were taxed, you'd be due a rebate.
It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. From your previous comment, he would be upset about the booing. After all, the club he (allegedly) supported prior to City do not, and as far as I can think back, have had very few dodgy decisions against them be it the CL or la Liga. When your government backs you, be it financially or with helpful land purchases, you can't go far wrong. If he's at any game I'd be surprised
we need to boo louder BOOOOOOOOOOOOOUEFA charge Pep and the Scousers.
Pep Guardiola has been charged with two disciplinary offences by Uefa after Manchester City’s Champions League defeat to Liverpool on Tuesday.
The City manager faces a first charge having been sent to the stands for protesting to the referee Antonio Mateu Lahoz after Leroy Sané had a goal incorrectly disallowed during the quarter-final second leg at the Etihad Stadium. The incident occurred just before half-time and the City manager came on to the pitch when the players were coming off for the interval.
Guardiola also faces a second charge of improper conduct from the European governing body for communicating with the bench after he had been sent to the stands.
Uefa has also charged Liverpool over the behaviour of their fans during the game, for letting off fireworks and throwing objects.
Either that or the Poznan for me. Poznan would be a pseudo protest. Turning your back on Uefa while also doing something fun.I'm done with the booing now. I'll be chanting 'City, City...' over it instead. Feels like a more proactive protest.
This.I said this last night and it got moved, but here's my feeling on this.
Pep deserved this.
He manages us. He needs to get used to this. We're not in the inner circle, and nor are you. You just managed teams that were. Now you don't, you manage us.
Rather than bemoan our fans for hating this shitty shambles of a tournament, now you might get it.
And you think the Premier League is less corrupt?
Yep, Poznan. I also think it’s quite a powerful thing in general as all the fans are physically connected - would give me a buzz if I was a player. And it’s origin is from a game with a great atmosphere with loads of friendly humour between the home and away fans (imo), at a time when the rest of the country was busy slagging off the Poles. It’s got loads going for it, shame it appears to have become a bit ‘un-cool’.Either that or the Poznan for me. Poznan would be a pseudo protest. Why can't we Poznan and boo at the same time?Yep, Poznan. I also think it’s quite a powerful thing in general as all the fans are physically connected - would give me a buzz if I was a player. Do one you fair weather fan, some of have us have been going since 1962 and will fucking let the scumbags ruining football for the fan rather than the TV audience know.
Men can't multi-taskWhy can't we Poznan and boo at the same time?
Barcelona first played in the European Cup in 1960-61, losing in the final. They didn’t actually get to another final until they won it for the first time in 1992 and then didn’t win it again until 2006. That’s two titles in 45 years. They've probably got more empathy with the tourists and corporates than with the average City fan. I think prioritizing winning the Champions League is a bit fanciful on their part. It's a hit and miss competition unless you're Barcelona or Real Madrid. It's an ambition they may never realize. Does not winning it amount to failure for the manager and players? Why risk that?
We can :)Why can't we Poznan and boo at the same time?
