This year was our 7th year in the champions league.
We've made the quarters once, round of 16 three times and the semis once.
I think that's a pretty decent record in 7 years.
If you compare it to arsenal, utd, Chelsea and Liverpool who have been in it consistently and probably double the time of our participation then our record is pretty impressive.
It shows the Sunday supplement up for what they are. Lazy, spiteful, bitter and way off the mark on their take on things.

Yeah it’s is seeing where were before we bought out but they won’t talk about the other teams failures. How long did it take Chelsea to win it?
 
Ripping into Buffon and quite rightly so as he acted like a twat but can’t remember any of this when the rags went for the refs many many times

Wengers Arsenal have qualified 19 times for champions league. Only twice . One semi final and once runner up , have they gone beyond quarters.
Are we really that bad ?

and yet all season we have heard about Arsenals invincible s and rightly so. Yet they got knocked out at QF stage of champions league......so by media rules, not a great side.
Which way do they want it?

Barcelona first played in the European Cup in 1960 and didn't win it until 1992 then didn't win it again until 2006.

Exactly........Arsenal one of the biggest clubs in Europe and have never won it.

The genius of ferguson won it twice.
In total control both times.....waited till injury time to pounce
And knew John terry would slip whilst taking his penalty

Ho and in the final against barca the great ferguson led Utd never won a corner !

Yeah the mighty Baconface only won it twice in how many attempts, pushing 20 isn't it?
 
I'd have been throwing my shoe at the telly if I'd have watched that. The crap officiating in the Liverpool games was swept under the carpet.
