May I refer you to this:

plural noun
1.
a very large but unspecifiednumber, amount, or quantity
Thousands of refugees are packed into over-crowded towns and villages.
Hundreds have been killed in the fighting and thousands made homeless.
I must have driven past that place thousands of times.
2.
the numbers 2000–9999

You know full well saying ‘thousands’ of years is incorrect and hyperbolic.

The Oxford English Dictionary would disagree with you.

I said that at some point border expansion through warfare must stop. If you disagree with this then state so clearly. Your previous comments with regards to Crimea suggest that you agreed with this.

I have no issue with aggressors losing their lands as a buffer zone after illegally attacking a neighbour.

The Palestinians lived on those lands for thousands of years.

And more live on those lands now than at any point in history.

I don't even know where to start in response to this. It's all rubbish.

The comparison of the Israel-Palestine conflict to colonial occupation of North Africa is utterly absurd. Western countries occupied North Africa. North Africa did not occupy North Africa. They had no right to be there and after bloody wars for independence they left. The Palestinians have every right to the lands that they, their parents and their grand parents owned and lived on. The French have no right to the land that they stole from the inhabitants of North Africa.

The Palestinians lived on those lands for thousands of years. As previously stated, and as you have again ignored, many of them are descend from the original Jewish inhabitants.
As part of your solution do you agree that the leaders of Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Iraq, Yemen and all the other countries that made life intolerable for Jews following the formation of the state of Israel should offer to return the land and property to the descedents of the original owners? Or is it just Israel who should do this for the Palestinians?

They were forcibly displaced or fled as a result of a war started by people on their behalf. The leaders of those countries have as much of an obligation to resolve the situation as anyone. They are the ones that are responsible for their predicament.

They did not force them from their lands. The Israelis forced them from their lands. They cannot give them back the lands now occupied by Israel.

Absolutely, I would support this completely.
It is the very least that they are entitled to along with compensation for their suffering.

We both know you’re wrong.

thousand
noun
Definition of thousand for English Language Learners
  • : the number 1,000

  • thousands : an amount that is more than 2,000

Would you consider 11 people to be “tens of people” or 101 to be “hundreds”?

See an English forum debate the topic:

As the two events are interlinked, this right of return should also be interlinked. How many of those countries would you expect to go along with that?

I don't feel that I should need to argue this further. The Oxford English Dictionary gives the definition clearly as: "the numbers from one thousand to 9,999".
If you are so pedantic of this then argue your case with them.

You’re wrong. Simple as that.

Is 11 people “tens of people”?

And that’s ignoring the fact that Pakistan wasn’t majority Muslim 600 years ago anyway.

I haven't a clue. It's impossible for me to predict the answer to that question.
But as I have said, I would wholeheartedly support this. My father grew up in a small village amongst the remnants of a small Jewish community on the North coast of Algeria. There were still a number of Jews living there whist he was a child. The community disappeared slowly and I don't think that there is anything left of it now. I have only visited briefly and so I can't gauge how receptive the locals would be to this.

Are you really still arguing this point?!?!
Go argue with the Oxford English Dictionary for goodness sake.

I never said that Pakistan was Muslim majority 600 years ago. Show me where I made this claim!
The only claim I made was that Muslims lived in India prior to British colonial rule. You seem to enjoy inventing things on my behalf and then arguing against them.

It’s not really is it.

So you know the thinking of everybody in all those countries?
The Jews lived amongst the Arabs for many hundreds of years without issue. Only after the creation of the state of Israel did things turn sour. If the Palestinians were given right of return than I see no reason why they shouldn't welcome back any Jews that would like to return to their lands.
