All these papers will have stats that if they have a positive back pager of a Liverpool player they sell more copies and that’s the bottom line. Have a full back page of Man City and centurions will not get those sales
 
I like the fact that it's not getting the immediate headlines. They rarely mean much.
In 100 years time the 100 points achievement will still be remembered.
 
If you need any more evidence our PR dept and their nicey nicey approach needs sacking, you are getting it today.

And no, being plastered all over the papers tomorrow will not excuse todays ommissions.

Wow.

The media are being ****s again and you see this as an opportunity to have a go at the club.
 
This latest "poor season" denial.

They can't have it both ways.
Spurs have improved and playing incredible fooball with Harry Hotspur.
United have improved under Jose and it's been a successful season.
Liverpool can obviously do no wrong; the best team to watch with the World's greatest player ever.

What's it to be? Make your bitter minds up.

I see it as our pr dept being shit on yet again. Not one other premier league would take this as anything less than a slap in the face, but we'll be rolling out the red carpet for the people guilty of this.

There's nothing left to say, we excused it and excused it in spite of multiple trophies. We saw our managers given no credit in the media and our team never given their due.

Eventually the tide would turn, people would say.

Well we just re-wrote the damn history books and today sees a team 25 points behind us given every back page.

Why? Because they know they can.
 
If the rags or the scousers had done what city have and Sergio had won the golden boot with 50 goals and we finished 4th who do you think would have got all the headlines, Sergio would not have made any headlines and certainly not the back pages,

What do you suggest our PR team do to remedy this? Until we have the size of fan base that the history boys do it will always be the same.

We don't lay out the red carpet for them then the underlying negativity against us will just increase. F
