UB40 were brilliant in 81 at the Apollo. One of the best live performances I ever saw.

Once had a beer with a white Barbadian who had a hugely strong Caribbean accent, which was a bit odd but totally genuine.

I thought Ali Campbell left the band and his brother was singing.....

Anyway, very relevant band in the early 80's. 1 in 10 one of the best songs charting Thatcher's Britain / life in Britain at the time, along with Ghost Town, Small Town Boy, Ship Building amongst others.
Once they turned into a covers band doing Red Red Wine / Kingston Town it was time to call it a day
