I still love listening to music from that era; UB40, Specials, The Beat, Madness, Selecter, Bad Manners, etc.

Wonderful songs from a simpler more, innocent age.
And don't forget the best of the lot,those loveable cockney chappies - Squeeze.
In fact one of the City firms of the late 70s was named after a Squeeze single -
"Cool for Cats"!!!

I wouldn’t say that Squeeze would fall into the same genre as those I mentioned. They were more New Wave and I wasn’t as "into" their music.
