Hope it's true. I'm excited to see him play for us. Whatever you think of him, Mahrez really is one of the most entertaining players to watch. His quick turn and dummies frequently embarrass opposing defenders. He's the perfect player to unlock a compact low defensive block. Plus his ability to shoot from distance will cause the opposition problems in deciding whether to sit deep or close the space. He will greatly diversify the attacking threat we pose.

Can Pep turn him into a hard worker? Whenever I watched Mahrez he seemed to be quite lazy off the ball. His mentality worries me as well. If something goes against him, he acts childishly. Very similar to Nasri. Amazing talent with unbelievable qualities but not a warrior. He's not a proper winger either which I presume means that he would be playing on the right cutting inside on his left foot with Walker overlapping him and Raheem on the left with Mendy doing the same.

Peps the best in world (in any sport imo) at man management, motivation, and coaching. People who sign for us will know what’s required of them and be up for it before they even train a single session with the squad. He’s an inverted winger yes, and a beast of one at that, but I have my reservations about him playing left and centrally but I seem to be one of the few that is concerned about that.
