haha.
haha.
Keita is the only one of them who makes me jealous. Basically a better version of pre-injury Gundogan, could be an ideal Silva replacement. To be fair that's a frightening midfield, a bit worry...
Fair points made but there is definitely no guarantee that their new signings will bed in straight away. We now have a settled and harmonious squad that only needs tweaking. Jorginho and Mahrez may not be the players that some of us want, but Pep will decide who we need, and most of us are happy enough with his judgement.Wow! That was even more out of the blue than Bernardo Silva.
They're going to be a really formidable side next season. Keita, Fabinho and possibly even Fekir to come in strengthens them enormously. If they add a goalkeeper then they're all set to mount a credible title challenge next season. There are no guarantees that we'll be able to repeat the successes of last season, especially the incredible winning run that put an almost insurmountable distance between ourselves and the rest. Add to that the fact that United are preparing to spend an absolute fortune on improving their squad. I have serious doubts that bringing in Jorginho and Mahrez will be enough to maintain the present gulf in quality. If we're really serious about staying ahead of the chasing pack then I think we need to really go all out for a world-class attacker.

Fekir is 24 and scored 24 goals last season. And its doesn't matter if our players are more technical because the systems are different. Their midfield 3 of Milner, Ox and Henderson dominated ours and all 3 are fuckin wank. Football is played on the pitch, not using stats. The squad they've built is what Dortmund were never able to do when Klopp was there because they didn't have this level of financial clout. Next season will be even tougher. Bring it on I say.Keita is the only one of them who makes me jealous. Basically a better version of pre-injury Gundogan, could be an ideal Silva replacement.
Fabinho and Fekir...not so much. Jorginho and KdB are better players.

We wil get imorovements and we have already have a really good squad and our youngsters will probably get only bette so i see no reason ,that we can´t defend the title again.
FW: Salah, Mane, Firmino (Subs: Sturridge, Ings, Origi, Solanke)
MF: Fekir, Keita, Fabinho (Subs: Ox, Henderson, Lallana, Milner, Wijnaldum)
DF: TAA,VVD, Lovren, Robertson (Subs: Matip, Klavan, Gomez, Clyne, Moreno)
GK: Migonlet/Karius (the only weak spot)
Under Klopp, that squad is 100% going to be fighting for the title and cups. Insane depth and incredible first XI.

I agree, will most definitely be closer. But we won't stay still under Guardiola. I think we will continue to aim higher, even though improvement made from Pep's first season to last was humongous, next seasons improvement won't be as big. Unless we shatter the 14(or so) records we have just set. Highly unlikely, but you never know.I think Fabinho will be able to step straight in. Keita and Fekir may need a little time to adapt. Honestly, I rate both our targets, but looking purely at the "quality" of the squads and the supposed transfer targets, it's difficult to dismiss the fact that they are likely to close the gap in terms of the quality of our respective squads. We are probably still favourites if we do bring in those two, but I think it'll be a lot closer next season.
We still have every chance of defending the title, but if they succeed in bringing in their targets and we succeed in bringing our targets then they will probably have narrowed the gap in quality. It'll be much tougher next season. Also bear in mind that they have now secured two new signings (Fabinho and Keita), so they are further along in their recruitment.
AGAIN,we are buying pieces that fit together to produce a 100pt team,we are being very cleverThose making decisions at City must know this too, so why aren't we going for better quality targets this summer?
