They have all bought into peps rotation or we wouldn't have got 100pts and the newbies will join knowing the deal,we are in 4 comps and they will all get to play plenty,i see no problems ahead, pep has them all involved and committed and working as a close team/family,the greater good and not for themselves, that is the deal with pep, leave if you don't like it,i forsee no-one important leaving when they have a great chance of retaining the title
Spot on. The ideal, physically, is 30 games per season and the practicality is most will play a lot more than that.

I'm surprised it still hasn't been acknowledged that Pep does not have a preferred 11. His team selections all last season, even in key games was evidence of this. Therefore i don't understand the speculation about whether Mahrez will get into the first 11. Time will tell. But if I had to speculate. He have as much opportunity as anybody in that squad to start based on his form at the time.

Their greed is even bigger than their egos. If Bale can't find a club prepared to pay him more than he's being paid at Real then he'll be staying where he is regardless of whether he gets any starts or not.

This is an interesting point - there are so many players who want to have their cake and eat it. They sign long contracts with huge salaries and then moan when they are not playing enough (or think they're not playing enough) and yet refuse to go somewhere else on lower wages. This especially smacks of greed, does it really impact your standard of living if you say dropped from £300,000 per week to £200,000???

Yep. Should also mean we don’t lose to the likes of Wigan in the cup. Especially if Bravo goes as well.

When do i start panicking????

It's been mentioned many times by a fair number of posters in a couple of different threads, particularly by @mosssideblue who several times yesterday, rightly pointed this out.

As pointed out by a mate, Mahrez is the ideal kind of player. Good but not a guaranteed starter like a Hazard etc... That means levels don't drop (if he signs) when selected, but also doesn't automatically start over Sane/Sterling, who have the potential to develop even more next season.

Champs league quarter final at Anfield, who would they prefer to see on the right of midfield? Gundogan or Mahrez?
Robertson wouldn't have come past the half way line, because of the threat of a more attacking player.

LMAO - I heard from a mate too who said he would be a regular starter

Correct

Does anyone know the actual fee we’re paying for Mahrez? That also includes add ons, I believe and I’ve been told it’s around 75m in total is this correct?. If so that’s decent business for a proven player like him, anything over that though price for a 28 yr old early next year isn’t IMO even in today’s market especially if he isn’t gonna be the 1st name on the team sheet. He’s a very good player and will 100% improve us no doubt about it and I’ll be happy if he comes but anything over 75m for him is to much, i know it’s not my money but for the clubs reputation even more so! Mahrez will also be the clubs record signing and will be coming with a lot of pressure on his toes to be successful. He isn’t gonna be the best at our place which was completely different at Leicester as he was head and shoulders above the whole team there which made him stand out a lot more that in itself when he arrives here adds more pressure as he needs to prove he worth here if he’s coming for that sort of money. Money adds pressure. He’s never played under any pressure before IMO as Leicester have been over achieving last few years and have no realistic expectations as a club to win anything so he can play the way he does with freedom and no pressure, Things will be different here IMO, he’s very good but also a gamble/risk which could go wrong but I trust in the greatest manager in the world so gotta go with it I suppose. Transfer market has gone mad.
