It's not that easy. To sue for libel, the club and Guardiola would need to prove damaging effect/impact. Unless there's concrete evidence of detrimental impact that the statements are directly responsible for, you cannot sue. That is why people get away with random accusations when it comes to celebrities.

The burden of proof is higher when it's a public individual.
 
Pep was hard on him because he fucking deserved it,if you haven't watched the MNF he did 2 weeks ago then go watch it,he says he hates that players expect the team to revolve around them and everyone runs for them,he say severyone runs for each other,it's a tight team where they work for each other,also yaya got a years extension that he did bugger all with

How do you quantify the damaging effect? Tomorrow's papers aren't going to make pleasant reading as they indulge this fanasists claims for the sake of headlines.
Pretty damaging I'd say and he's already admitted intent.

The main thing that all dickheads have in common, is that they don't realise they are dickheads. That's Yaya's problem.

He essentially has accused Pep of racism, as that's the only explanation he can possibly think of as to why he wouldn't pick him every game. He's not accused him of saying or doing anything racist or discriminatory, he just hasn't picked him, and because he hasn't picked him it must be because he's a racist.

Pep has a long and proud history of not getting along with dickheads, particularly outspoken, troublemaking ones. That's the recurring theme amongst all the people who hate him (Yaya, Zlatan, Eto'o, Nasri, Joe Hart, Ribery, that Bayern doctor, Seluk, Raiola, Mourinho)

Think the papers will be careful as they know yaya is an idiot and they know if they insinuate anything they will be sued

I defended Yaya a lot during his time at Barcelona back when Seluk first started creating a toxic atmosphere but you can't have a rabid dog agent like that and not share some common ground. Playing the race card, really disappointing - you can't really walk something like that back again and its not the first time he has spoken without thinking. He's embarrassed himself and that will be his legacy, shame

I agree with you. It's not easy. This is the grey area that lawyers are paid the big bucks to present a compelling case. It's not that easy.
 
When Pep let him go and he came to City I wasn't keen on African players either, hated losing him for weeks mid season so he could go play in the African cup of nations, really disrupted our run in to the end of the season and didn't want the club to sign anymore African players.
