Just seen this on the Premier League website. A bit more than a one season wonder, but certainly didn't fulfill his potential. Wonder if any other Prem team will take a punt

Big shame really. He really was a very talented player.

Maybe the club saw his future before it happened and so were proved right in letting him go .... but at the time I really felt like it was a crying shame and a big mistake for him to go just when great players were joining. He could have been great with Silva and Yaya and Aguero. Funny old game...

Half a good season, followed by a heart scare (may or may not have been caused by the 'help' his performances were getting) and career dropped off a cliff since.
