Hamsik was class. He's Napoli's all time record goalscorer from central midfield, thats nothing to be sniffed at.

Hamsik was class . Saw him first hand in Lillie when Slovakia played Russia totally bossed the game. Loyal to Napoli aswell as he could have gone anywhere.

People may say contracts give clubs security but do they? Once a player wants out his heart and head isn't at a club anyway.

Oh I know that but in reality it already does. Once a player wants away he either plays shit and/or becomes a problem until he gets his way in the end anyway. The selling club usually benefits by getting a big transfer fee and the buying club has the stress of trying to do the deal. The want away player is stressed too. Top players earn so much now they could gamble on a rolling one year contract and retire comfortably if things go tits up. I know it will never happen though.
