He is a lot better than most give him credit for and is a top team player who creates pressure and space for others to operate in. No stats on that though, just my own bloody eyes. It will be downhill all the way if he leaves here. Whatever he wins at City will be all he ever wins I'd wager.

Got fuck all to do with that,it has started over the contract situation,and escalated from there,trying to come to terms with what he's actually worth paying,but being compared to be on the same as some of our world class players,yup you are right there are some bellends
 
I honestly believe we can find better in his position, maybe not a better homegrown though. He has had a huge part in our success this season but I also believe peps system has benefitted him immensely.
I'd like him to stay, but if his demands don't fit with the culture we are trying to build, I wouldn't be hugely disappointed to see him go.

Who mentioned De Bruyne ? Not me

I've no idea who the highest paid player is now,I'd presumed it was Toure,now I'm not too sure,but I would suggest there is not a lot of a gap between the top down now,do you know ?

Of course it’s relevent when as soon as sky sports report something people come on here to slag him off, call him shit etc. We have hundreds of pages on media persecution of sterling, media agenda thread, yet people on here are just as fucking bad. Pathetic it really is.

Do you seriously believe he could end up at real madrid? He would get slaughtered by the fans there, not to be mention the media. no way would they be in for him. Doubt PSG would be interested either. They likes of Arsenal maybe.

Yeah. We won't pay what he wants but arsenal will? You understand how what our saying sounds ridiculous. If he was to leave, t would be to a team that could afford him and was at least equal in stature to us. Otherwise why bother?

All entitled to views and opinions,the contract negotiations were going on ages ago apparently,suddenly Sky decide to run it,as they will have fuck all else to do whilst the WC is on,but today is the first time I've heard the line of poles apart,so begs the question what does that mean ? Holding City to ransom ?

As said this afternoon by many,he is not irreplacable,but there a few who think he is,that's the pathetic part

You presumed it was Toure despite the reports of him signing his one year deal on reduced terms, ok.

Great player give him an long term improved contract. How can you not rate him? He terrifies defenders, wins us so many free kicks and penalties. And most of all he is home grown.
