Because Rashford and Sterling play different positions for starters. Rashford would be competing with sane for a start and Sane is light years ahead of Rashford

Guardiola has dropped Sané to play Sterling on the left and Bernardo on the right. He's put Sané on the right and Jesus on the left to play Sterling through the middle. He'd be putting Rashford in Txiki's office and telling him to pull his finger out and sign a fucking replacement.

I said that if he cares about the club I have no problem if he stays but if he’s greedy then he can sod off, pep won’t be afraid to get rid either, he got rid of Ronaldinho , you think he will be scared of getting rid of Sterling?
 
You can all calm down. Right now he only wants to focus on the World Cup and when its done they will negotiate wages (Sterlings optimistic about his own performances at the WC so might be able to get an even bigger raise) and he will most likely sign a contract in the middle/beginning of August. Pep wants to keep him and he wants to stay. You can take this post as a fact.
