Roberts blotted his cop book with us last pre-season. We wanted him to go out on loan in the PL or there was talk of a French team being interested, but he refused to consider any of them & only wanted Celtic again. We wanted him to develop which wasn't going to happen in such a dominant, one team league. Anyway we relented & he got his way, but he was injured quite early on & spent long spell out. When he came back, he was never quite up to speed, so was selected sparingly, so 3 months ago he announced that next season he wants to play in the PL.

This is why I think we're prepared to cut our losses with him, because he didn't show the right mentality to push & prove himself as we hoped. Hence he's now effectively up for sale. I like Demerai Gray & I think him & Roberts would for a devastating wing combination given time.

That seems a shame, he’s cost himself a seasons worth of football and development in the Premier League and probably ended any chance of playing for MC in the future with that decision. I can’t see Leicester taking him to be honest. Sounds like a loan move to a Prem team where he’d start plenty of games would be useful.

Many strong rumours that Leicester want 75m plus Roberts that City value at 15m. That equates to 90m.

I ask again what do you think he is worth?

Why are so obseesed with how much he is worth? and you seem to be saying he is no better than what we have,you have repeated it many times,just say you don't want him if thats what you think,pep is building a team,a new player doesn't need to be better than what we have so long as he improves the team,clearly pep and khaldoon think he will

He`s fucking obsessed as you say Kaz.Seriously which fans give a flying fuck what he costs.At the end of the day if Pep needs him,then who are we to argue.Khaldoon will soon pull out if its too much.

I was a bit bothered with spending so much before but i don't care now,if we can't trust pep after all that happened last season then we never will

You clearly don't give a flying fuck as you think money grows on trees. You clearly think as we are the monied City we can buy whoever want at whatever cost with no regard to FFP or balancing the books.

He was worth.the chance last season, he's made a monumental fuck up going against the club's wishes last season. I still reckon he'd be well worth a chance at £15m based on his previous form & obvious talent. So much so, I'll drive him to Leicester myself.. :-)
 
No matter how little we spend other club's fans say we've bought the league so fuck em spend whatever it takes.

You said you would come on here and proove to me it wasn't down to money, so i think It's down to you. Plenty of reports that the deal is stalling due to money. Tolmie the man in the know has said so himself on here! He said Liecester have moved the goal posts ! Do you think they are haggling over what breakfast Mahrez likes. Lol Doh!

A mirror of "the greatest team in all the land" song that is now accurate but wasn't meant to be way back when. So the "not really here" would if he signs be true were once it wasn't. I'm confusing myself and I'm confusing you. And boring you and even boring myself now...
