Riyad Mahrez

I look forward to his influence on the other attacking players, both driving them to improve themselves, and in the way he complements their abilities on the pitch. I honestly think Sterling can learn quite a lot from him, which could spur Raheem on to being the world class player we all know he could be.

And you are absolutely right. Luckily, I have become the Guardiola of Dane training over the years, as I shadowed the gentleman that trained my family’s Danes. ;-)
We had a comparison between him and 15(0 (he who shall not be named) on here a while back and I said I'd prefer Mahrez as the Disco lad has won everything at Madrid without putting the effort in and Mahrez would have the hunger to kick us on a notch.

When it comes to a big breed my rule is, I've two young kids so if I can't manhandle the dog if necessary I can't have it. That's why I have an English Bulldog and not an English Mastiff, it was a choice between the two. Danes are powerful fuckers but if you're confident you can train and handle them go ahead, they're great dogs.

pmsl hahahah, it does look like a huge stop smoking patch, as you say likely loaded with dubious chemical compounds.
Yeah, Night nurse, judging by the way the lazy s*d shaped when he came on - Hardly had a kick... And chickened out of taking the 5th penalty

i saw a photo yesterday of Pep in a clothing store in Melbourne, so maybe any delays are also due to waiting for Pep to get back to the UK

Kenmare is a nice spot, it's the other side of the peninsula from me. Not sure the aggression would do the beagle any good, the boss dogs are Irish shepherds and they bully an Alsatian and a Wolfhound when they're in the mood, although we've a year old bulldog I think will probably end up taking charge when he's older. Being aggressive would be a very bad thing :)

I used to have a bulldog, lovely placid lazy bugga. I'd love to have a wolfhound, beautiful dogs. Is he generally healthy?

Not sure what you mean?

All I know is someone who works on the announcements has been told to keep Saturday free so he can do two transfers

Sorry a predictive text error in there. But that’s what I wanted hopefully all done Saturday then and ready to conquer Europe. Some serious depth in that squad if this goes through.

No medical planned this week, if you believe this source...

No medical is planned for Riyad Mahrez at Manchester City this week - at least not for the moment - according to a relative of the player. "An agreement is near and inshallah everyone will be happy," the source said. [Le Buteur]

As an Algerian myself let me tell you this: Ignore everything that comes from LeButeur. All of their articles are either fake or pure speculation. They probably wrote this because Leicester press has been rather quiet about this

Yeah he's young enough, health is less of a problem than their hearts wearing out as they get older.

If I am correct these are the important dates so far as integrating a new player into the side ready for the Gunners away.

Monday 9th July back from pre season except those who are entitled to a holiday because of the WC etc
15th July WC final from a City point of view we could do without Brazil v England final.
19th July assume that City will jet off to Germany
20th July play Dortmund
25th July we play Dippers
28th July we play Bayern
6th August we play Chelsea
9th August transfer window closes for incomings.

Only two weeks today before our first friendly, surely these signings will go through next week although it may depend on how quick we can offload Zinchenko.

If we jet off to Germany on the 19th of July I'm not sure we'll make it to Chicago in time for the game against Dortmund #worryingtimes
