No not for me.We should bin him and go for William Carvalho
Do you know how stupid that makes you look? You have no fucking idea on how we conduct negotiations yet you feel compelled to make yourself look a complete nob by pretending you do. Top marks
Again exactly just like any other fan would, no fan knows what Pep tells his players in the dressing room before a game but if we play bad we have the right to criticize. as fans are info is limited but that doesn't mean that we can't still criticize based on what we because we want to see our beloved club get better. if we can't critisize or comment on anything unless we have the absolute facts there wouldn't be much to talk about. The thing is you are criticing your beliefs & assumptions not facts
none of us have a clue on the negotiation process or the team talks and game tactics or what goes on in the dressing room. But we judge based on what we see and from what I've seen we do tend to let some negotiations drag on when it feels like we don't need to and sometimes it comes back to bite us. Alves was done and dusted but we let him go on holiday giving plenty of time for another club to sign him which happened. We didn't manage to wrap up Alexis in January and instead told him to wait till the summer giving plenty of clubs time To approach him and sign him which again happened. we've known The fee Napoli want for Jorginho since we wanted him but spent two months trying to get it down only to pay a little less anyways. We spent weeks trying to get Stones and Sterling fee lower only to pay it anyways. Now of course I don't know all the intricate details of negotiations but from the limited info we get as fans I draw my conclusions just as any other fan would. I'm not saying we need to sign everyone in the first week just would be great to see us wrap up these guys faster when we can instead of letting the risk happen that another club can hijack the deal.

You are missing the main point & the one which has helped get us 100 points.
We only want players who want us.
So if Jorginho or anyone, doesn't want to hang around, or is tempted by more money, he, like Sanchez, Pogba, anyone, can just fuck off.
I get that and that's a respectable stance and ofcourse the Pep effect is great for us and so many players want to come. But we can't let our selves get too arrogant, players will want to play for us sure but they will also always be open to other moves. We aren't entitled to anyone a player will want to move to us but another club can also come in and convince him.You are missing the main point & the one which has helped get us 100 points.

in my view Sanchez on top of earning more money probably felt more wanted by the rags. he sees us telling him to wait till the summer because we won't pay the fee and sees them paying the fee and offering him even more than us. that probably made him feel that they value him more than we do and made him switch sides.Draw conclusions by all means, we all do that, and criticise when the facts are known
In your opinion, why did we not get Sanchez
Have to disagree. Arsenal refused to release him after they failed to secure a replacement in the window. We had a value which we placed on his head and his agent wanted a bidding war , and once the rags gazumped us, we walked. That is good businee acumen.I get that and that's a respectable stance and ofcourse the Pep effect is great for us and so many players want to come. That's why it's best to try to wrap deals up quickly to minimize that risk in my view.

I agree with u in that we had a value for him. But Utd values him more which is what made him switch in my view. I agree that it's good business not to have him on 400k a week but in my view we should've wrapped it up before they even had the chance. 20m for A player like him is a good price.Have to disagree. He's been told this multiple times but seems to deliberately ignore it, draw your own conclusions. You really don't seem to understand how complex transfers are.
To use your, seemingly, favourite example of sanchez; arsenal *needed* a replacement, this was january and they were scrapping for results desperately. We tried to offer just money but they needed to secure a replacement. This has nothing to do with Txiki or anyone. Then whilst arsenal were fucking around united offered them money plus Michael Terrapin which suited them down to the ground and then they offered Sanchez crazy wages and he is now wasting the twilight of his career at a team devoid of happines.
But what you fail to grasp is at none of this point was it our fault. We have to wait till the club is ready to sell. No matter how much money we have/offer.
