Eden Hazard

Yes I can go with that. It would not surprise me though if city pulled a big one out of no where. A hazard would fit the profile, if not, so be it.

Hazard is still a gem of a player who had a mediocre 2017/2018 season which was unexpected.

If he is to leave Stamford Bridge in this transfer window the favourites are likely to Real who may be losing Ronaldo.

Would the tfr fee be in the region of €110m?

I’d love to see him in a City strip.

He's had a few mediocre seasons, so it wasn't that unexpected.

We actually do :)

Hazard/Sane Aguero/Jesus Mahrez/Raz

Kevin/Gundy Fernandinho/Jorginho D. Silva/B. Silva

Mendy/Fabian Otta/Laporte kompany/Stones Walker/Danilo

Ederson/Bravo
I make thet 18 non homegrown and 4 homegrown, one too many non homegrown.

He hasn’t had a mediocre season under Pep. We’re his stats that bad last season? I remember his first season being average, and the one where PEG got sacked the second time. In any event I struggle to either see Chelsea letting him go, or us being able to afford him under ffp

That's beside the point. It's arguable that sterling would walk into most sides in the world. The point I'm seeking to clarify is why is an evaluation of sterlings performance at the world cup being based on chances missed etc, when the comparator at the same competition from what I recall hazard is yet to score a goal or assist, yet is being touted as the answer to City's attacking line up. It doesn't stack up?

(Sorry for my late reply)
That, in a way, was my point. But maybe I wasn't clear enough.
I made no reference (nor comparison) to Sterling or his performance in the WC (I personally think he has been unfairly criticized), nor any other player. This is a thread discussing Hazard, and my comment was solely based on his qualities, which has been proven far longer than the running of the extent of the WC.

Was never his biggest fan but he had a great World Cup. Dangerous every time he touched the ball.

I can see him going to Real for £150m+

Yuk! Couldnt count how many times he chose to brainlessly look down and dribble when mopportunities were developing ahead of him. The most talented brainless player i've seen since the day of Quaresma in his pump... A strong NO for me.

Agree with this. For all his qualities, he doesn't seem to improve his team and raise others, it's all about him. There were at least 3/4 breaks against Brazil where if he stopped trying to attain the highest number of players beaten record and instead looked up, he would have seen Kev or Lukaku in acres of space.

As great as he is, I'd get pissed off watching him at City.

This is why I can never agree with people saying Hazard is better than Kev.
