Plus if your going to refer to someone as a "stupid fuck", you may not want to include within the same passage hyperbolic, naieve statements such as a 19-20 year old with less than 2 or 3 years professional experience, being a "future all time great". There are so many factors that have to come together or rather be avoided before anyone can even come close to reaching that statement, in my humble stupid as fuck opinion.I realized he was unlikely to ever come last summer. Simply will not develop how he could in Ligue 1. I’d expect him to go to Real once they finally get rid of Benzema and maybe even cash in on Bale next summer. They will have no issue dropping 200mil+

Barca may need to be bold and grab him as Messi will be on his way out in a few years. Madrid won't like that. Then again Chelsea may invest hard again depending on Roman and certain political stuff going his way, the world cup will make Putin proud and doubling up on that may be telling Roman to get some cash in again and grab a couple of the decent russian lads whilst he is at it. This would keep the words Russia, top players, top clubs etc in the same ball park.
We may decide the fella is just that good and worth having a look at.
I know one thing, the transfer thread on him here will beat every other transfer thread by post count, of that i am sure.

Sane is our Mbappe and we got him for a steal.
He has everything Mbappe has, pace, power, creativity, ball control, exquisite dribbling and finishing and he will become a world class player as long as he keeps his head focused.
I can actually see him evolving into a centre forward in the mould of Thierry Henry which is why I'm not too concerned about replacing Aguero. I can also see (and I think this is eventually what Pep is priming him for) him playing a freer role behind the striker coming or as a false 9 much like messi.
Sure, Sane has only has 1.5 good seasons with us, you might say I'm getting overexcited but I think this kid really has it all, and I'm not being anymore overexcited than these people who are Mbappe destroy a woeful Argentina and suddenly want to spend £500m on him.
Mbappe is going to be a fantastic player, probably one of the best of his generation, but we are still talking potential. Sane is my opinion has that same potential. He has everything Mbappe has as well as the best manager in the world helping him hone his craft. I think they could both be amongst the best players of their generation but they are still young and alot can still happen.
When people talk about 20yr olds as if they are gaurunteed to be the next GOAT I think back to players like Recoba, Quaresma, Robinho, Kaka, Gotze, and arguably even Neymar (though he still may have time to turn it around). All players who had it all but for a variety of reasons never quite reached or maintained a sustained period at the highest level. Mbappe or Sane could end up just the same, or one of them could or both of them could be world beaters. None of us know, least of all the people judging mbappe solely on 1 game and some youtube highlights.
I personally believe Sane is as good as Mbappe, has all the tools to continue to be as good or better than him in the future and from their it comes down to coaching, injuries and mentality. Don't forget also that Sane has effectively been played out of position since he moved here and has done an amazing job. So amazing that everyone assumed he is a natural left winger. he usually played on the right at schalke and cut inside and that I believe he has stated before is his preferred position. But he has adapted his game to fit peps system, which was especially necessary when we lost the width that Mendy would naturally provide this season. I think we'll see more of him on the right and drifting more central this season of we have Mendy back.

Sane is better than mbappe right now but he is 2.5 years older and mbappe is probably better than sane was when he was 19 although player development isn't linear and mbappe could end up hitting a standstill. As much as I love Leroy I still think mbappe will be better. Leroy can be our Neymar or hazard but mbappe could reach cr7 levels based on what we've seen. I wouldnt say Sane is better than Mbappe. Both close to each other in terms of ablities and talent. Think we will have a better idea after a few more seasons.

Mbappe reminds me so much of Ronaldo (Brazil). Power pace with composure rarely seen on such a young talent. He will be a great.
The fact we are even contemplating a bid means we have arrived in the ‘big time’ arena. Pep has taken us to new heights in terms of player appeal. We would be advised to take full advantage of this fact over the next few years and chase the stars. Some of them will be wearing blue Very soon.

I see a kid who has a talent but is also prepared to dive and cheat to get on... world class and those antics don't sit well together for me....

Why 2.5, Sane is 2 years and 11 months older than Mbappe (just like Asensio), so basically 3 years.
