Did you watch france last night. I haven't read back. Sorry if you have already commented on that. Mbappe was brilliant. France must more exciting than the rather laboured sides I have seen in the past. Gave me a taste for the World Cup. Mbappe could be one of the stars of the tournament.

I thought you had a point after watching the game. He is head and shoulders above most players in the game, including anyone at City right now. I'd love City to buy him, but it seems impossible. If Real Madrid get forced to sell someone, I think they would sell Neymar before Mbappe.

Definitely the potential but everyone is always in a hurry to annoint the 'next' anything in football. He's very talented obviously and depending on how much discipline and work ethic he has, could become a truly memorable player. Ousmane got a lot of the headlines against Italy but I left very impressed with the performance of Mbappe - looks like he can get separation from just about anyone ala Sane. Can he develop well alongside Neymar who is less than 100% dedicated to his game? I am skeptical

Just don't want him going to RM

I still think dembele is the more talented youngster between the two of them and I was more impressed by him against italy. Mbappe has the potential to be a henry level player in the future but currently he still has some way to go. Anyone who thinks he's already the best striker in the world or is above anyone in the current city team must be having a laugh
 
Mbappe is not head and shoulders above De Bruyne, Silva, Sane to mention just a few at City. Good player. But a long long way off great or even world class for that matter.
Would I have him at City. Yes!, For 150 million though. No!.
For that amount we can look at two worldies,quality additions in areas where we actually need to strengthen within the next year or so, this being Center Back and Ferdys replacement, dont say Jorghino is it because if you saw him play last night he clearly is not, he brings something else to the team.
