Now we know the story perhaps people can stop slagging off the club,i'm sure pep is over it already
+1The only solace I'm getting with this thread is the massive appreciation and respect we have for Fernandinho. The early measure of the man was how he pushed and did all he could to sign for us from Shaktar. This is seemingly in sharp contrast to Jorginho.
Fuckin hell. SSN have just said Napoli pulled out of a deal to sell us Jorginho & told him he HAD to sign for Chelsea.
They said as recently as 48 hours ago, Jorginho made it clear he wanted Manchester, but ADL said no, go to Chelsea or else.
Apparently the extra money Chelsea have paid is the exact amount of Sarri's compensation fee!! City have accused Napoli of being utterly unprofessional in their dealings with us.
If true, just WOW!
31 now, short term thinking and i dont think we do that anymore.I would break the bank for Matuidi. Paris told us to back off a couple years ago or they would come after our guys.
If we offer enough, Juve might consider it, especially after the Ronaldo outlay.
Tell Ric then. This should be closed
Maybe we’re after getting him from ChelseaThis should be closed
i was thinking of adding the fee for Jorginho to somebody else so a £100million signing could be on the cards ????
We need another DM this season.
Fern although very, very good needs to play less and isn't the best against the press.
Without another DM so Pep can play the double pivot and share pivot duties with we can forget the Champions League.
Sorry to be negative but its a fact.
The purchase of a top class pivot is essential for next season.
Jorginho would not have stopped Liverpool taking City apart anymore than he stopped City running through Napoli.
We have to play better, as a team & not defend like clowns. If we play each game as we can, then we have a chance of winning it, with or without another signing.
That's the funniest thing I've read and seen on this thread and why I regret the bullying brief. Cheers fella. He was pushed to sign for Chelsea and forced otherwise bad things would have happened to him yeah.

Matuidi's a good shout. HOWEVER do we really want to return to Italy?? :-)I would break the bank for Matuidi. Paris told us to back off a couple years ago or they would come after our guys.
If we offer enough, Juve might consider it, especially after the Ronaldo outlay.
Vidal is two years younger than Fern but his injuries are dodgy.
@tolmie's hairdoo has just made a shout for Blaise Matuidi. I hadn't considered him before, but I'd be more than happy with him if he was available, but it's the price & dealing with another Italian team that would make it difficult to do before the window closes. There isn't an obvious replacement we could sign. He is one of the best in the world.
Hence why we bid for Fred & Jorginho who are both different types of players to rach other & lack Fernandinho's alround game. They would take some of the weight off Fern but there would be a big question mark on either playing a full season in his spot if he wasn't there imo.
Unfortunately, all is fair in love, war & business mate. That’s Italian clubs for you utter lying cheating scumbags
