Fred, Kovacic, Ndombele, Lemina are basically another 'Dinhos', doubt that Pep is interested in such player anymore. Ndombele is talented but quite raw from what I've seen and would cost too much.

It actually makes sense to postpone the decision for a year, scout upcoming youngsters and give a chance to our own young players. Claudio Gomes has a reputation of a huge talent, who knows - he could be seen as a viable solution next summer.

Agree with this, if we can’t better what we already have, why spend 50 mill + just for the sake of getting on extra body in?

N’Zonzi would be a good cheap option, or Stones, if we waned to keep things in house.
 
Surely Weigl is worth a punt now. Pep would work wonders with him, his appeal and price might be down due to a disappointing season last season and he is the most "Busquets" style player that isn't named Busquets going around. A lot of German players are wary of coming to England though. Maybe we already tried and didn't get anywhere, but if we haven't already sounded him out we should be. Still so young and so much potential for growth.
 
Here in Barcelona they give it as impossible to sign this summer. Ajax have already been told twice that they will not sell, they need to win the league.
