you can format ext Hdd so I believe to work as internal storage but it isn't worth it if you have the 500gb version. and a quick google has a 500gb usb 3 drive a a fiver more expensive that that thumbdrive from amazon

I opted for SanDisk Ultra Fit 128GB arrived today £30 on prime. Works a treat. Had to format it before it worked lol but yeah all hunky dory now

Big difference having that extra storage on the shield I always like to download all my tv and films before watching in case broadband goes of or buffering.

Yeah, couldn’t even do the shield update. For the price of it 16gb is shit
 
Hi guys. I don't use kodi anymore as started using apps for films/TV etc. Swift Streamz and livenet TV for sports. Any new ones on the scene that you've heard about?
 
Totally new to this thread. I have had a Kodi box for a couple of years but most streams/links don't work any more. Not good on the technical jargon but mine still uses "metalkettle"? Should I be updating and how do I do it?

I would install apktime two posts above. Plenty of apps in there that do the same thing as kodi add-ons.

Been down along time that mate, do a fresh install of kodi and take a look at trending addons on here
www.kodiapps.com
It gives full install details for each one if your not sure what your doing.

Also for apk's click top right . Apk's, and you get a chart for those as well
 
Pure soccer, formerly (pure sports, sportsmatrix) is bk up all online links working a treat, some in 1080p

Click install from zip, then repo purerepo 6.0, install from repo, vid addons and pure soccer is there, make sure you have f4mtester installed also. He'll have other addons covering different sports in the near future

Edit : version 1.1 update will be pushed tonight
