It's not just replacing them, it's about replacing them with equally effective players. I suppose we'll find out soon enough...

Every team playing in Europe is playing for the Quadruple & every other team in the PL is playing for the treble. If they weren't they wouldn't be trying to win every game they compete in. Whether a treble or quadruple is achievable, that's another matter altogether.

I've just responded to another poster who has dismissed Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, ManUre & Arsenal for next season. Trust me, they walk amongst us!

What would I consider a successful season? The league & anything else we can win. The PL is the one, albeit I'd love to win the CL so at least we've achieved our aim from 10 years ago.

Actually mate, it's only the English and French teams of the major leagues going for the quadruple with the obvious effects on teams not in Europe.
 
If it wasn't for squad size restrictions I’d say that any team should always buy 2 players for any position and then ditch the lower performers in the following year. So if the had to strengthen in attacking they’d get a couple in and the following year strengthen elsewhere.

Going after one player at a time as a solution for a certain problem puts all the eggs in one basket.

Not who, what. A LW, CM & CDM. However for the avoidance of doubt..

- Clubs register a squad of up to 25 players, which must include at least eight 'home-grown' players, at the end of each transfer window.

- Home-grown players do not have to be English; home-grown players are defined as those who "irrespective of nationality or age, have been affiliated to the FA or Welsh FA for a period of three seasons or 36 months prior to 21st birthday"

- Clubs can supplement squad with unlimited number of players under the age of 21

This would include the likes of Sterling, Delph, Walker, Stones & the likes of Fabregas etc, if we were interested in him.

Champions League rules, 4 have to be club developed. Know any players capable of competing for a spot, with a winning mentality that are happy to sit out European games? Fabregas can't play for us in the Champions League. Unless you want to alienate an existing squad member.

The make up of our squad is down to Pep & Txiki & our priority is the league as Pep said in May. However it is up to both men to decide what we need to do to be competitive on all fronts. As that stands I believe we need a top class LW, CM & CDM & I'm sure it is recognised at the club too....

You need to get a new keyboard mate, that caps lock key is wrecking my head. I've one there I can send to you if you want? Works perfectly, but I need a plushy wrist rest on my keyboard nowadays.

Ok, so which ones played for City for 3 years between the ages of 16 and 21? Otherwise, they're not in the Champions League squad and if they're that good, they'll sign for a club that can play them in the Champions League.

17 players
+4 that have played in the clubs country of origin for at least 3 years between the ages of 16 and 21 (homegrown)
+4 that have played at the club they're at for at least 3 years between the ages of 16 and 21 (club developed)

So I'll ask again, which 3 players do you want us to sign that have either played for City for 3 years between the ages of 16 and 21, or don't mind missing out on the Champions League?

I have this comp and keyboard since a friend lent it to me after we beat liverpool at home A great home victory, we both got wasted and hr hasnt asked for it back
