This will inevitably end up as a drawn out affair only for the player to sign for man united because they paid more money to his father.

Could be second choice LW and third choice striker, but where does that leave Diaz?
Not unexpected given his age,but he looks very raw and inconsistent.A bit of a show pony too, with all the flicks and tricks.
Dare i say, while he plays further forward, there are shades of Pogba to his game.
probably to keep good relations with sporting. there can be lot of talent there in the future.Didn't Martins leave for free when he signed for Atletico? Weird that we have to pay 13m, when both terminated their contracts

Didn't know that. CheersYes but now Sporting are taking legal action against them, same as what they've done to Wolves for signing Rui Patricio.
Absolutely no idea of his quality and whereabouts he is in his development at the moment but it's looking more and more like his father is whoring him out trying to get the most money up front. Admittedly this is based purely on what's been reported but it does look the most likely to me.completely ignorant and a bit confused by his comings and goings - is he 1st team ready? is he any good? is he going to sign??!

would cost double that in normal circumstances13m is quite a lot for good relations
Not sure this transfer (if it actually happens) is meant for the first team.Oh fuck no- how would that fit into our squad??
More than that, he had a €60M release clause and was expected to get more game time under Jorge Jesus as his personal project before everything went to shit. Would rather we pay a quarter of the fee than a long drawn out court battle.would cost double that in normal circumstances
