Maroon was citys away colour from 1900s until 1968, pretty mich our 3rd colour from the start

Maroon is always my favourite away kit colour, proper maroon though, not the Vimto colour burgundy we’ve had a few times.

We had an orange and black away kit in the early 1960s

We’ve had numerous purple kits

We also had a yellow, maroon and white away kit in the 60s

Yes I remember watching us play at Leeds road in yellow (old gold),also Turf Moor in all white,all Maroon was very popular in the cup games.
