Jesus, this man is a cretin. He has spent 300 million on players that don't seem to fit his plan, has the squad with the highest wage total in English top flight history, and is still coming up with every excuse imaginable as to why he's failing.

Throwing the players under the bus, throwing the board under the bus, throwing their fans under the bus. It's like a soap opera.

He was brought in for one reason - short term success. To win the premier league. He proceeded to get bent over and ravaged by Pep and now appears to realize there's no way he can get over the hump so he's trying his best to orchestrate his departure by making his position untenable just as he did at Chelsea in his last stint.

Pep isnt going anywhere yet. And while he's here, this drama queen realizes there's no chance he's winning the league. Given their rivalry, it must sting him to no end and he'd rather leave than keep losing to Pep.

Heads in the sand.

It is obvious to everyone. They are completely fucked. He goes in November when they are 10th. Who takes over? Their preferred option of Pochettino isn't available. And certainly not mid season. i think relegation is reaching but they will be several years without Champions League.

All in all it looks like its going to be a good year.

So was I but with the power within the fa and the Prem brand money sadly I can't see it.
Fair point. Since a tragic event for them in 1958, they have repeatedly had preferential tratment both on and off the pitch, but since the Sky era started, which roughly coincided with their floating on the Stock Market, it has got far,far worse. David Gill's influence at the FA, UEFA and FIFA, the GPC's bullying of officials, and the media's constant fawning over them is, as you say, making it unlikely that it will happen.

We can dream, though.

He's trying to get the boot imo. Lives in a hotel, away from his family, doesn't need the money or the hassle and can no longer be bothered with managing high maintenance athletes now that Rui has moved on. It's over for him in the Prem.

Favourite to be sacked apparently.

Ahead of Neil Warnock lol.

I think Utd want him out. Press are usually so far up their arses they will not report anything negative unless briefed by the club so I think Utd have given them free reign to go after these stories about him

Funny how all the united fans were saying he’d get the better of Pep. In typical fashion it’s chelsea all over again. His head has gone a long time ago and his arse went when Pep walked the league last year. Do one.

Certainly seems that way given the stories coming out from the usual rag lovers
