Why can't we have something like that (the kit, not the player)? We had that basic design back in the 1970s; how come Palace got hold of it off us?
So did they...

The lad shouting or the Blue walking?
What a lovely chap.I remember bring in a van full of my mates back around the time it came out when one of the lads shouted, "fuck me, is that not the ugliest shirt you've ever seen"?
Yep, it was a Blue walking around downtown Toronto wearing that shirt.
I called him a ****.
Good Lord that is fucking hideous.Found this on Twitter...

Put a pair of orange shorts with it and I’m in.Good Lord that is fucking hideous.
I can't beleive there is a professional designer someone who stole a wage designing this abomination. A 2 yr old and an etch-a-sketch could do a better job. A big final middle finger from Nike.
Doesn't work like that anymore. It's not a third kit, it's a cup away kit.Haha! I am! But the point stands...dark blue, dark purple...are there any occasions where we could wear the purple one if we couldn't wear the dark blue?

There won't be a team with which our home and away kit clash, so there's no need for the extra kit in that sense. We'll wear the navy blue away from home in the league where possible and the third kit away from home in the cups, again where possible.
And, either way, the point of having two dark kits being redundant still stands.I see what you're saying but we wore the 'cup' kit in the league quite often .
Redundant from a kit clash point of view, not from a shirt sales one. And, either way, the point of having two dark kits being redundant still stands.
Indeed, and there in lies what we are all on about.Redundant from a kit clash point of view, not from a shirt sales one.
I know it’s a pretty small sample pool but I can confirm my son loves the brighter kits. Especially the neon ones. He thinks this kit is shit thoughWhere does this idea that “kids prefer the bright coloured kits” come from. Is it based on anything? Seems like a load of shite to me.
I blame the parents.I know it’s a pretty small sample pool but I can confirm my son loves the brighter kits. Especially the neon ones. He thinks this kit is shit though
Hahaha, yes, his dad is a bit of a twat ;)I blame the parents.
After Raheem, obviously.
I wish it was, mate. I coach kids and nearly all of them demand the bright or strange kits. We just went through a kit selection for next season, where we let the u12 players consult, and we ended up with “Astro Green and Midnight Black” striped shirts.Where does this idea that “kids prefer the bright coloured kits” come from. Wonder if he would have thought different if the colours were reversed (mainly neon orange with purple sash and accent bits)?I know it’s a pretty small sample pool but I can confirm my son loves the brighter kits. Especially the neon ones. He thinks this kit is shit though
