As bad as the kits may be this season, let’s all brace ourselves for Puma’s spray-on efforts next year. Has anyone got any examples of nice kits designed by Puma?
I'm sure there have been a few posted in the puma thread, but West Brom's for this season is a good current example. As bad as the kits may be this season, let’s all brace ourselves for Puma’s spray-on efforts next year. Has anyone got any examples of nice kits designed by Puma?
Not just recently. We've had orange kits going back to Sven's season; remember that (non) display at Villa Park on the opening day of the season (Agbonlahor hat trick?).Seems to be quite a bit of orange recently. Not a fan.

It's obviously designed to wind up our resident Celtic fan @Magicpole, innit?Wiped from memory. But yeah now you have said it I recall. Is there a relevance with the orange im not aware of?
Many still own it to remind us of how far we have come.
It was iconic for one reason it was the kit we wore when we dragged our bollocks out of the depths.
Most older fans prefer sky blue, white shorts, blue socks (navy or sky with maroon), black and red striped away and white with sash third.
IMO do what they want with the third and change the away from black and red to maroon or white with sash but keep the home kit relevant and happy days.
Most younger fans love the extreme colours we have had, orange, purple, ghost green etc and these fans need keeping on board so use third for that.
I wrote ironic and not iconic. Your reply doesn’t really go anywhere in that respect.
Red and black doesn’t sell. A City myth.

Spot on.Sorry for misreading
Black and red must sell as loads of city have it
It may not sell well but it sells
It’s also significant with City and scarves were even given away at Leicester in the cup when Nelly Young passed away
To me and many others black and red is our away colour
Umbro said that a few years back. The red and black striped kit was a poor seller.I wrote ironic and not iconic. Your reply doesn’t really go anywhere in that respect.

With our new badge and white cuffs that shirt would be perfectionI can’t see anyone beating Umbro for style, quality and attention to detail, when it comes to kits.
I understand we want to be asscociated with the biggest brands, and Umbro probably can’t afford to pay the big bucks to make our kits; but just look at the quality they still roll out (Everton’s kit last year aside).
I love the look of the new away kit but when I bought mine, as per the material is naff. So instead of getting the new home shirt, I found this corker on eBay for £20.

It may not be the new badge but at least I feel comfortable and not like I’m wearing a plastic bag. I can’t quite squeeze in to the one I had 9 years ago :(.
Can’t wait to get shut of Nike.
