General transfer rumours

Why stay in London to have the meeting? Hope we’re not going to be involved in some player swap deal with Chelsea/Spurs. High time we came out and declared ourselves uninterested in Danny Drinkwater and Eric Dire (I know) just to allay my fears.
 
I think we’re done now tbh. I think we are ok with Delph/stones covering DM when needed and we will see in January I guess

I just can’t see it with the window so close to shutting. Plus we’ve denied every player we’ve been linked to, who’s left ?

Maybe if we hadn't denied eg Veratti but everyone else rumours would quickly grow, but by denying the lot the press have no idea (along with me). Pep saying we are fine maybe helps keep the price down. Only thing for sure is we only have three more days to go.
 
All signs point to there definitely being a push to sign Pogba by the close of this window, hard to believe - I still think it's improbable but we'll see

We certainly got nowhere doing the gentlemanly thing with Napoli.

A few white lies are always necessary where multi million pound deals are being done so football will be no exception.

Probably we are finished but the only certainty is the window closure date.

Fucking he'll, just seen a couple of transfer rumours, and they make our recent signings look like theft. Wilfred Zaha £75m, and the Rags will have to pay upwards of £75m if they want that Maguire fella.........even makes the Pogba fee appear good value!

I find the last bit hard to accept .
 
Rags have to offer a huge market premium these days to persuade random mercenaries to join them. Bwahahah. Meanwhile, we target strategically and tell would-be ransom merchants to do one.

Oh, how things have changed. One big clusterfcuk at Trafford since my namesake retired.
