We have a squad for a reason. Pep will pick the best 11 on the day based on a lot of factors. People really need to think a little differently than a traditional starting 11 imo

Calm down. I'm not denying he will play a big role, just a reduced role compared to last season with Bernardo possibly playing more games centrally. Again, it's only speculation based on Pep's comments.

If Pep sticks by his statements about playing those who firstly run hard and also play well then last Sunday’s team should start with the possible exceptions of Sane and Mahrez.

Both of these could possibly be excused by knocks (Sane) and lack of City level fitness (Mahrez) so let’s give them another chance if fit.

That leaves a bench with the the attacking prowess of KdB,Dave, Jesus, Sterling - not bad
