Godin has 20 mil Euro buy out I believe.

A no brainer , game changer if they can get it done. Only 32 , young for a defender, best years ahead of him, a born leader, will help develop others, worth his weight in gold within the changing room. First choice all along.

Can they get it done though, fun on Woodie

I've just heard "a steal" been mentioned by the panel in the studio, an experienced pro who will bring the young kids through at centre half somebody highlighted, highly rated somebody just murmured.
The amount of shite they come out with for that fuckin club.
He's thirty bastard two. It's a panic buy. Why can't they see that!

IMO Godin would reject them just like Boateng. Atletico already have a good squad and have added Gelson and Lemar. They are in a much better position to challenge for trophies than the rags are.

But money talks...
 
Absolute desperation from the rags but personally I hope they don’t get godin for any price he’s an absolute monster of a defender

In fairness they signed Shaw to address LB which at the time looked the perfect fit but that hasn't worked out partly due to his injury, They signed Darmian who, again looked a good fit at RB but hasn't worked out either. Do they move either on and try again? No we buy Sanchez so that we can push Martial (the only transfer success since Fergie left) out.

In the meantime, even Gareth Southgate has copped that the 2 united centre halves aren't up to it.

So what happens? Somehow, 4 or 5 years and 3 managers later, United decide they need a CB (they need 2) who can play football. Spurs have a good one they don't use - lets buy him. That Maguire lad (who looked just as good 2 seasons ago at Hull) seems to have played well for England - lets buy him. There's that Columbian lad who can't get a game for Barca and looked good at the world cup - lets buy him. Or Zurt f*cking Zouma who was on loan at Palace? Seriously is there nobody at Utd doing any actually planning or thinking or is everything made up as they go along?

2 seasons ago Utd wasted the summer trying to buy Hummels and Ramos. When neither materialised did they just decide "oh well, that didn't work out - lets buy another winger"??? Where is the evidence at United that they are looking to build a squad and not a merchandising team?

Club is a shambles."

As does Mourinho and the Utd fanbase only the Utd board took one look at City one look at Liverpool, and then one look at Mourinho and another at their bank balance and had second thoughts.

He actually is one of the best defenders in Europe despite this being a desperate panic buy. No future in him but over 1-2 seasons he’ll do a job for them. Still no remotely worried they have much bigger problems, namely mourinho

Because he is the best pure defender in the world. It’s not even a debate, Godin is a monster. However, I think Varane is the best if you take all attributes like passing, speed into account
 
Hopefully the Godin rumours aren't true. Getting on a bit now, but is still a great centre half and would be a huge upgrade on what they currently have.
