De Bruyne injury - Back in Training (p89)

Lol i had given away all my money, the house and even the cat to god at the start of extra time,i would like to get premonitions like you though haha

I have had a couple in my life not all football related. The thing is you keep them to yourself for fear of ridicule then after the event when you mention it everyone thinks you are making it up lol.

There just guessing

Yep, unfortunately they are.

The two names on said exclusive, one is Steve Goodman, not even a journo really, speaks multiple languages and just rips off quotes in the foreign titles.

The other guy is just an online rehasher, who spends all days doing such as his remit.

If there was any truth in it, Martin Blackburn would have also have pulled rank on it at the The Sun, or at least been asked to stand it up.

Again, it would then have carried his name.

I doubt even Kevin had the full results of the scan when they concocted this shit.

This will have fucked up the way pep had planned to play,i bet he has been working on a plan for months but if anyone can change tack it's pep

Even though KDB is by far the bigger loss, I reckon this will mess up how we want to play less than the injury to Mendy did last year. From what Pep said, it came across as though we'd had to rethink our entire shape for the rest of the season. I think we'll still be able to stick to the same game plan with or without him, we'll just slot different players in. Hopefully it won't be for more than a couple of months anyway.

I’m intrigued by Dr Cugat and how he works. Presumably he is on call to City so if the call comes and he’s about to operate on someone- does he tell the to hop over into the corner....KDB’s arrived!
Hoping he can work his magic but am sure we will be fine even without Kevin. It’s a good test for Pep and the squad

I don't think he's so busy that people need to be shoved out of the way to accommodate our players when they're injured.

He's a professor of medicine at Barcelona University, I think most of his patients are either footballers or part of his research programs.

Apologies if similar already posted (56 pages!). As I get older, I am often surprised by how often things are blessings in disguise. Kev not noted for taking things easy or being a fan of rotation. He had an obvious dip in form in the second half of last season and looked knackered. This will force a good rest after the World Cup and we get him back hopefully fit and rested.

Its a lot easier to find a makeshift left back (Delph) that it would be to find a makeshift central midfield player I think is his point.
Sheesh! You'd have thought I said something out of the ordinary.

I've concluded that there are posters who oppose anything I say on principle.

There is nothing controversial about saying CMs are more critical to a team than fullbacks. They are. And Kev is far better than Mendy.

As a general idea, fullbacks are not as critical, and specifically Mendy is not as critical as Kevin. And fullbacks are not generally more critical on Pep's teams than CMs.

FFS Mendy is the cherry on top. Kevin is the god-damned Cake!

To even compare them is ridiculous.

If it’s 6 weeks, it’ll be a huge boost. Hope he comes back hungry Bc he’s gonna have a few players fighting for his spot when he first returns. Get well soon kev! Cmon boys let’s make sure his absence isn’t missed !
