Who knows who will miss out from game to game, but as @karen7 said we should stop using the word 'drop', players will be rested and left out because Pep will choose teams from game to game not because they have been 'dropped'.

Should have used rested rather than dropped and I appreciate Pep will rotate the team for a number of reasons. However, after last week's performance Sterling starts imo.

sorry mate should have commented when putting the team up. sane and mahrez haven`t really got going yet and my only thinking was a home game against huddersfield could get them game time and hopefully confidence boosting performances? raheem was superb last weekend and it was only the reasons that i mentioned that i would play the team i listed. i think we all know pep will play a totally different one to what we expect anyway! lol

Do you think your manager will instruct his players to fight fire with fire Mike?
I think you’ll go 4-5-1 and try and choke the midfield. The way we’ll beat you will be the likes of Sterling, Mahrez and Sane running at you. You’ll foul them and give away set pieces. Eventually, if the officials do their job, your players will be carded/ sent off or will not put in challenges in the fear of being sent off.
If, as you suggest, you don’t go defensive and decide to give it a go, take an abacus with you.

Huddersfield were the most defensive team we played last season, that is for sure. You did well out of it though and got a point at the etihad.

Fair enough mate, whatever the criticisms you do play within your capabilities, and it's kept you in the league
by doing so. I like your manager, he doesn't bullshit and seems a good fit for your side, if I were he I would park
as many buses as I could against a side like City, any attempt at high lines or gung ho charging forward from the off,
and you will indeed need an abacus to keep score.

Nowt wrong with that though mate, it annoys me when teams like Huddersfield get slated for it, it's as though they shouldn't
be allowed to stifle and frustrate, when these kind of tactics are necessary against certain opposition.
We have to find ways of breaking them up and slipping the forwards through, if we don't, it's our problem, I would
play exactly the same way as last year if I were them, only even tighter, if they could then sneak a pen or set piece, you never know.
